I made a cauliflower soup with curry powder, not sure why I've never thought to just cook them together!

I definitely need to get roasting by the sounds of it! I tried "zoodles" - awful! They were preprepared and I thought worth a try as courgette/zucchini is one of those veg I don't like as it usually comes. I still don't like it lol.

First time on this board section - isn't it full of pretty people!!

Stop thinking about diet or low fat options, easy way to add calories without extra volume of food. Then you can make swaps as your allowance goes down and it'll make that easier to adjust to as well :) my go to things would be cheese and yogurt, I admit I don't know what the vegan choices are like. Nuts as a snack will…

I was going to say pretty much the same thing. Mind you, I rarely follow my own advice. I'm a sucker for pilau rice, and love a madras. Usually a bit of naan too. And always a pint of lager. So I tend to just eat very low cal the rest of the day (and lower than normal the following day too) to minimise the damage and order…

Fridays are my "weigh in" that I log on here. I probably step on the scales on average every couple of days though and will log that on libra. If it goes up over night I know that's not fat, but it will remind me to be better with my water intake/watch the salt etc. I barely weighed at all this last month and have had a…

I have never thought of going to the deli for grab and go food! Banking a few of these ideas myself so thank you for asking the question!

**lowers goal by a stone and a half, plans a reward trip to the US** I didn't know half of these were a thing! I don't know how to post a picture, but it would be a rack of bbq ribs for me. Or a cheese board; Oxford Blue, Camembert, Mexicana, Stinking Bishop, Austrian Smoked and a vintage cheddar. Don't even need the…

Thought so, I just like a second opinion before I call someone out for being one lol

Also, If you read the sticky posts at the top of this section of the forum it will answer a lot of your questions, it did for me she I started.

Why do you need to lose 30lb in a month? From what I have read here it is recommended to aim for somewhere between 0.5 and 2lb a week using a long term sustainable adjustment to your diet. I'm afraid I don't think you will be getting the answers you want here but I do think you will get helpful ones.

18lb since August 15th. Not the fastest but im happy considering my birthday and a holiday are included in that!

Children here wean from six/7 months usually, is a year really more common over there?! There's usually a bottle in the morning and evening alongside until a year but definitely meals too. I know that's not advice, I'm genuinely interested though!

Well, I did have dessert, and a beer! But it was a birthday treat from my boyfriends parents and I didn't want to be on diet mode. Got home and logged it with my best guess, and it's not *too* bad!

I've been similar due to a week off work and a few days away. In about an hour I am going to walk the 2 miles or so to a shop and stock up on fresh salad bits for lunch the next couple of days. (I'm then going to the pub near the shop for dinner but a roast should be manageable and I'll pass on dessert lol.)

I have only had time to read the first 4 pages of this thread but I didn't want to read and run without saying well done on such a great start!

Why would you regret anything if you have the calories for It? I had nuggets from Maccys yesterday. And a *kitten* load of gin. Ate low enough calories in the week to allow for it and didn't go over my goal for Saturday. The only regret I have is the Hangover!

You will not gain 4lb of fat by drinking for a night. Don't look at the scales if they make you doubt yourself. Log accurately and you will soon find you can feel it in your clothes
-
Glad this has popped up, very refreshing! Don't think I've ever had a completely clean day lol
-
When I have a salad, half the calories or more can be from dressing. You are told wrong.
-
A years subscription is less than I was spending on food and drink on a Saturday night so easily justified on the basis I'm not doing that every week as a result of being here. I like that I can set different goals for different days (and use more calories on those Saturday nights I do go out!) But it's nothing you…

If I want to drink, I have vodka lime and soda water, but leave out the vodka every other drink.

Pick the places that have the lighter options. It's possible.

If the measurements are doing the right thing the weight will catch up. Some don't weigh at all and go by measurements alone because the scales can be so unpredictable. Things are happening- don't worry about it!

Most of what I eat is carb so I can't help you there! But to stop it getting boring try different marinades for your chicken, or different salad dressing if that's the sort of meal you find easiest. Can you heat food? If so I'd be taking chilli and microwave rice, Bolognese, soup... I find that sort of consistency heats…

Try diet soda as a first step, will help you find out if it's the sugar or the caffeine that has the hold on you!

I would definitely be interested in joining one. I have browsed through groups on here but many seem either barely active, or so well established it would seem tricky to get really involved (people seeming to "know" each other, jokes you don't get as they related to old posts, etc etc). It would be good to be involved in a…

I am no expert as this is a relatively new thing for me but I have been reading a LOT of posts and I don't think two weeks is too much to worry about. I keep reading advice to download a weight tracker app - which I did this morning (libra on android, there is a different one mentioned for IOS but I forget the name). The…
