Hi Michelle, welcome. Can you help me get started with keto? I would love to try it but need a sensible diet plan that works and is not too restrictive

Hi, can I still join this challenge?

Hello, I am a bit late but can I still join this challenge?
-
Yes 125lbs but I feel flabby as I lost a lot of muscle during pregnancy and post partum. I will try 0.5kg per week. Thank you

Following as I had my c section on 10th October. I feel like a whale at the moment. Have gone from UK size 10 pre pregnancy to 14 now. 7kg to lose

As I said before, open up your food diary. Members can have a look at it and suggest changes. It worked for me.

Oats porridge with cocao powder and sweetener

Firstly, log it. Second: calculate how much you have to exercise to burn off your sugary treat and do it! When I started my weight loss journey, exercise made me appreciate calories. The thought that you just worked so hard to burn off that fun sized chocolate stops you from having it next time (at least that's how I…

I live in UK too. I have lost 30kgs. Feel free to add me and open your diary if you want more support.

What's the dressing? Can you share the recipe? Looks yum!
-
I'd love to see your work out plan if you don't mind sharing :)

I like Myprotein impact whey strawberry and cream. It is my dessert after gym :)

Very interesting views everyone! So, in the end, I logged everything. All 3000 calories!!! I don't know how many days will I need to recover from it but it was worth it!! :)

I love my air fryer especially if you are cooking a small portion and don't want to wait for the oven to pre heat. I have been making fries, falafels, chicken, bean burgers etc The only thing is that you need to eat the food straight away. If you leave it lying around for a bit longer, it loses its crispness as there is no…

Here are some options (I have a 9 month old baby with only incisors. She loves these) 1. Giant cous cous with mushrooms, onions, peppers in tomato basil sauce. Just make it to a consistency that suits you. 2. Pilaf rice with cucumber yogurt 3. Parfait - oats, yogurt, berries, protein powder 4. Lentil soup with veggies 5.…

I have sent a request to join but where do I add my starting weight?

Nutritious meals

Thank you so much. Makes complete sense. I have been taking measurements once a month but not bodyfat etc. I will get it done.

I am 5 feet 1" and my TDEE is 1500, BMR 1250. I work out 4 days a week. I totally understand your point. I feel drained during my work out but recently I started timing my meals in a way that I eat 60mins before my work out. Or sometimes even 30mins. It has made a massive difference to my work outs. Play around with food…

I often bank calories from the week for my weekend splurges. I try not to go too overboard during the weekend but sometimes I end up binging really badly like last Sunday at a family fun day. I know I need to work on my relationship with food but that won't happen overnight. In the meantime, I still have 8kg to lose. So,…

I am not offended at all. If you look at my average calories over 7 days, I average about 1200 a day. I tend to eat more/ eat out over the weekend which is why I save up my calories. Yes, I could probably tighten up my logging a bit more which might add another 100 cal per day but I don't feel the need to because I am not…

This and... Drink lots of water and increase veggie intake to ensure that you are getting enough vitamins. I am still breast feeding. I go to the gym 4 times a week. I also reduced junk food and refined sugars.
-
I have a similar approach to you. I save calories during the week for my weekend splurge. However, I split excess calories between Saturday and Sunday. I am not starving either but my TDEE is about 1350. I do log my weekend splurges so that I am not massively over. It seems to be working fine for now fingers crossed

Just sent you a request

I use oatbran from the whole foods shop and sweetener it with sucrolose.

The most discouraging advice is "your bones are heavy as you have been fat since childhood. So forget about BMI. Just try to remain between 60 -65kg." I am 5 feet in height!!
-
1.love food 2. Can't do with small portions as I have a big appetite 3. Sweet tooth 4. Socialising generally goes hand in hand with food 5. I'm 5 feet in height which doesn't help either 144lb need to be 120lb

I agree with Ashlie. I didn't add extra calories for breastfeeding either.

I have a nutritionist who was the best thing that ever happened to me. His approach is so practical. I don't starve. He doesn't give me a diet plan per say but initially checked my food diary to educate me on how to develop a plan that suited me.
