Thanks @Lin20281 - your post reminds me of a Bilbo Baggins quote "it's a dangerous business, stepping out your door ... if you don't keep your feet, there's no telling where you might be swept off to" :) Goal 120km for the month Net- 39.5km 15/9 -0.5 16/9- 2.0 17/9-3.0 18/9-1.0 Total: 46km

Thanks for the encouragement @serser28 ... I had a great night's sleep.

Wanna share a lightbulb moment for me: I've been learning that it's important to switch off. I get into a worry loop when I'm stressed but it just makes me even more ill, sleep poorly etc. I'm learning it feels like a break to read my phone in bed but I'm happier if I put it down after a few minutes. I'm learning to value…

My weight is exactly the same so far. But it's helpful because now I don't mindlessly grab another drink and snack. I also feel heaps better.

I'm averaging 5-6hrs a night but as the week goes on, going to bed later and later. I've set an alarm so I'll be more mindful

Hey everyone I'm in for drinking more water too. Aim - 8 glasses of water a day 6 Sept: 5 glasses (1litre?) I try to weigh just once a week so I'll post that later.

I do have a cast iron pan - great, I can do that easily. We live in Australia and don't have cream of wheat here (sounds yum!). But I'll look at fortified cereals. Optifast shakes aren't a long term solution. Iron supplements make me "all blocked up" and "gassy" .. so for the health and safety of all around me, I stay away…

Hi everyone, wanted to post to say I tracked my eating today. Almost ideal, except a bit too much sugar and not enough iron. In case it helps anyone ... Morning:- optifast shake w strawberries, chia seed. Lemon and honey drink Snack:- zucchini bread, Apple Lunch: salad with 1/2 chicken breast, sunflower seeds, cheese…

You'll get there. We'll all get there. We'll help each other. Tomorrow is a brand new start. It's soooo discouraging when we aren't where we want to/need to be. But we can turn our lives around. There's always hope.

Ace idea for a thread. My BB is taking some deep slow breaths. In,2,3,4...out,2,3,4...in,2,3,4 I wanna emotional-eat some feelings right now, but I'm gonna get a cup of water instead and keep up the slow breathing. Good night from Down Under, folks!

Hey there! I'm looking for accountability too ... I've got 7-9kg to lose, and need to build body muscle for bone/heart health. I've lost 4kg. Importantly, I want to overcome yo-yo eating, and build a lifelong nutritional and exercise habit.
