It all went well. I've just got to remember to take my binders more often then I have been. Everything else seems to be stable and good to go.

The replies are awesome y'all! I know anything can be a breakfast food. I was simply naming typical ones. Because I sleep such strange hours, I simply count my first meal as breakfast. I can do eggs, sausage and toast with milk. Or I can do soup, salad, and tea.. I run the whole spectrum

:D Looks like I missed a lively discussion today! I take no offense or anything to the suggestion of not to eat. The replier simply could have overlooked that when skimming the post, so don't be too hard on them guys. All the other suggestions are awesome! Oh the subject of medicine and food because I take about 25 pills a…

@fiddletime: The sudden gain is something I've noticed the last 2 weeks. From the time I started dialysis in April of this year, my "dry weight" has been 184-187. So,to see it jump to 190 then 195 in the span of two different Dr appointments concerned me. No, the calorie tracking I just started this week. Recommend intake…

@fiddletime: I doubt it's my logging in any form for two reasons, 1. My dialysis machine logs everything concerning that (drain & fill amounts, BP, heart rate, body temp, blood sugar, weight) daily. 2. I just got back into tracking my food/calories. I'm seeing patterns all ready. Mostly salt being high so my body is…

@SaraKim17 @skymningen Thank both for the replies. I've not been on dialysis long about 5 months. I know part of it is my own lack of movement. I'll talk with my dietician on the 6th and see if she can give me some %s to work in. I know I need quite a bit of protien, but carbs and fat I'm lost on. I have to keep my carbs…

Condensed awesome checking in at 5'2 and 195. Mini goal: 190 Mid goal: 175 Final: 150-165 I'm curious how the hell my shortness plus my dialysis adding to my weight (anywhere from 2-5pounds) is gonna work into all this. Anyway, new friends are highly appreciated!

You got this. Just take it one piece at a time. I'd start with diet: Track all your food for the week. Everything! No judgement no guilt. This will help you see what you're eating for one and just where you need to adjust. Too much salt? Not enough protein? Things like that. Exercise: walk, swim. Start with things that are…

Bunny here! 30 dialysis patient. Currently sitting at 190, thanks both in part to my own laziness and the dialysis solution adding anywhere from 2-5 pounds. Support would be great. I"m wonderful at planning but suck hard at that first step.

Bunny looking for adoption! 30, dialysis patient simply looking for a mentor to chat with and help get settled into MFP. I love to cook, write, plan, stream, all manner of things but when it comes to exercise...I'm bleh without a partner to go along with me. I'm not asking to be babied just a nudge and a bit of…
