Which I check regularly and enjoy every day. How do you define 'eating in a satisfying way'? Not having access to healthy food and overeating are not the same thing.

Here's an interesting historical take on how being overweight was a display of status and 'privilege': https://www.sermo.com/history-obesity-renaissance-1910/ "The first post in this 3 part series on the history of obesity discussed the view of obesity from the Stone Age to the Renaissance, when fatness or obesity was…

Hey if it works... You gotta experiment until you find what works for you. Took me years to get to heavy lifting + IF (with correct cals/macro deficit/surplus). I've only ever cut on it and it's been very effective, going to bulk with it from next week which will be interesting.

I didn't start doing it for anti-aging reasons either I did it to burn as much fat as possible (Leangains). The fact that people regularly tell me I look a lot younger than I am I credit to IF seeing as there is research saying that it does that. maybe it doesn't and maybe it's the lifting - or a combination of both. I…

Think what you want and feel free to not do IF or anything else you don't believe in. Interesting that the anti-IF crowd are so bothered by it. If you don't believe in it why do you care so much about it?

Think that is meant for @Dolly989

Prefixed buy the word 'apparently', can post links like this one if we're doing that: https://www.meetup.com/HealthyPlanet/messages/67357092/ https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/75-Year-Old-Woman-Defies-Aging-Process-With-Raw-Vegan-Diet-441035953.html

Choosing to not overeat and become obese is not a privilege. being able to afford a gym could be seen as a privilege but anyone with an internet connection can get on Youtube and learn how to get and stay in shape without any equipment. Becoming overweight is is the result of having too much food - now that's privilege.…

Do you know this for a fact?

Apparently raw vegan diets do it as well. I'm not raw vegan but I do do IF 5 days a week.

nice -most of the time...
-
Apparently IF slows ageing - that's the point
-
In the 'guess your age thread' I'm being pegged as 8-12 years younger than I am. Been doing IF for 2.5 years now.

I'm about to start a 6-12 month depending on abs visibility, will probably take maintenance/cut months here and there to keep it in check.

I believe people can do what they want with their bodies and life choices. But if you're not happy with your body and life choices it's not the problem of people who have made different life choices. Watching what you eat and working out is not a privilege, making positive life choices is not a privilege. I'm all for…

My gym has quite a few insecure people with something to prove. A few times I've been doing boxing bag work and had someone come over and start 'teaching' me. Or the 'big deal' lifter who needs a lot of space including the stations around him. Or shadow boxing guy who needs everyone in the free weights area to know how…

I've been doing fasted lifting for a while now, great for cutting but on a bulk it will be interesting to see.
