  • I started weight loss 7 months ago. I was 66 kg and 180 cm tall. I wanted to get down to 60. I have only just reached my goal this week. It took me 7 weeks before I dropped first 0.5 pound. I know, half a pound, ridiculous. I cleaned my diet, added more fruit, veg, protein. Cooked all my meals, and pre planned all my meals…
  • Do you have activity tracker like fitbit, Apple Watch..........? If so sync it with your MFP and set your MFP as sedentary. If you don’t have any wearables, add your walks and other activity into your MFP, but still keep your level as sedentary. It’s the easiest way to keep on track with your calories.
  • Move more, and that way you ll have more calories to play around with and you ll be able to afford to eat dinners you will enjoy without restricting yourself to calories. I start my day with 1220 calories to eat, as the day goes on, and my adjustment calories add up, I always end up with at least 2000-2500 calories. 1200…
  • Add me, I log every day. I eat lot more then you, and I love carbs, other then that same :) I am on 200cal deficit too.
  • How much do you weight ? If you are training or doing some kind of sport 1g of protein per each pound you weight is recommended. If you are sedentary person then ta 0.8 g per each pound. So 60 grams really doesn’t sound a lot at all. You can change your macros manually rather then going bumy what myfitnesspal tells you.
  • Hey, add me too. I am on a same journey x
  • 30 pound in 2 months? I agree with travistocktoad, it’s not a healthy goal in any way. What are your current stats? Why Keto diet, I am great suporter of cleaner eating, portion control and calorie count. Much healthier and less aversive way to slim down.
  • Nursing on its own burns a lot of calories. So if I were you, I would set your MFP for maintenance, setting your activity level as sedentary. And try only eat 50% of your extra calories back. Don’t set your calories ridiculously low as it will affect your milk. And having agitated child is to me worse, then being a bit…
  • Me too. Please add me. I need motivation and new ideas too :(
  • And your current stats are fine I would maintain your current weight, clean up your diet and lift more
  • Honestly, to say that you have been exercising for a year or so your tummy still doesn’t look lean. Saying that, if you were 200 pound a year ago then you look great now , but if you were similar weight and built a year ago then you are doing something wrong . I would lift more, and heavy that should lower your body fat…
  • Wow you guys are awesome :) I always hear, you are doing too much cardio, so you start to wonder, especially someone like me, who doesn't have a clue and only just getting used to working out. I most definatelly carry on, I enjoy my current routine, so I ll stick with it and perhaps start adding to it as my body gets used…
  • I was the same, I got given a pull up bar as a present from my hubby. ( I would be happy with jewellery but hey .. ) anyway, it was painful watching me the first few days, I couldn't even lift myself off the floor never mind pulling myself all the way up. So I kept trying, every time I went past it I hang on it like a…
  • Thank you all for your comments :)
  • I am not really following any program, I have a multigym at home and I try doing about 40 min every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, obviously on top of the "you are my own gym and some abs exercises" I also have a pull up bar and I try doing leg raises (around 20/25) and pull ups daily. Baring in mind I only started few…
  • Oh, and there was me thinking I might get a nice flat tummy one day. I always blamed it on not exercising and having an office job, then I had a baby, and I blamed it on that. Now almost 3 years on I am running out of excuses. The only one I am left with is just being greedy. I've recently finished 30 day shred, moved onto…
  • I see, thank you, I wasn't sure about the negative calorie adjustment and how it actually work, I think I understand it better. Currently I have at set as active, and I allow myself to eat about 20 % - 30% of my exercise calories back. ( my fit bit is linked to MFP) However I was trying to loose about 4 pounds and for the…
  • Thank you all for your help. I am clueless when it comes to training and healthy diet.
  • Thank you so much, I will have a look. In regards to diet, is there anything I should change ? I am totally clueless :(
  • Thank you. I do lot of fast pace walking which is my cardio and it of running, some jump rope exercise too, should I start doing more weight lifting ? Do you think 30 day shred is a good start for strength training. With having a kiddy I don't really have time to go to the gym so I trying to do exercises at home for now. I…
  • Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I have weights, and I weight everything. Even the amount of milk I put in my coffee, so I know my calories are being counted correctly. And I don't cheat myself. In reality I should be loosing at least a pound a week but I am not.
