Yes! Especially on days when I have to do long runs for my training - the gym just gives me time to just focus. Luckily I go at a time when not a lot of people are that is also a benefit.

I like running to Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Priestess, etc - anything that has a hard beat that I can match my pace to. Lifting I can really handle just about anything!

Hi AdinaRin - I am someone that has to go to the gym in the morning because the likelihood I will go after work is about 34% :) - so I am up at 3:30 to be at the gym by 4. The way I keep myself motivated to go so early is one I put my alarm out of arms reach so I have to get up. Once I do that, I am less likely to crawl…
