Good for you! I was so happy when I got into the regular sized clothes. I found my possibilities opened up so much more. Advice: Don't go overboard and buy too much till you "get to goal" ok? A lot of those clothes are useless now. Try to stick to the basics or shop thrift stores.

Re: The diet break (refeed at maintenance calories) Yes be sure to do this. This is a way to reset your hormones to your new weight, give you maintenance practice, and give you a mental break from the lower calories you have been on. Normally it is 1 to 2 weeks in length. I always did 10 days. And it's recommended about…

"Lose" is a verb. "Loose" is an adjective. But if you know the difference between a verb and an adjective you have likely been using the word correctly anyway.

Lol I don't know how many times I have started a thread on the difference between "loose" and "lose". But each time I just delete it, shake my head and walk away. Glad to see I am not the only one who LOSES their mind over this!

Good for you for taking one! Believe me, you will be glad you did. I hated taking mine and never showed it to anyone. Now I am so proud to have it as a side by side with my current picture. I encourage all newbies to take a before picture.

Great job! You look awesome.

Full sugar rootbeer!! If I have a good day with lots of calories left I will drink one but that is very infrequent.

And I forgot one... My CrossFit buddy who has been going for years and I were talking about different things I have not yet done there. (I have only been going for 7 weeks now.) I asked her if she has ever done one where you have to carry your partner. (I saw it online once.) She said "yeah and if we do it again I want you…

I have tiny feet. Size 6 and a half or sometimes 7. My calves have always been fat. Boots that come up to the knees have never ever fit me. For $hits and giggles I tried a pair on in the store and they zipped up right to the top! This was the first time in my life. Also I was using the hair straightener in front of the…

You are smokin! Great job on your loss and hard work.

Wow! You look amazing! Great job dude!

I can weigh in here from personal experience. I went from a tight 16 (and better fitting 18 pants) to currently a size 10 (starting to droop 12 pants). At my highest I was happy and at peace with what I was in the mirror. But my blood pressure became a concern so I lost weight. Now I like what I see in the mirror. (Except…

Last year right before Christmas I was just nicely getting started losing weight and was on a roll. There were so many chocolates and baking for about 2 weeks sitting right behind me. I had to walk by that stash 40 times a day. I told myself that if I could get through the day without eating that stuff I could pick one…

Congrats!! You have done so well.

Awesome job! You look so good.

Great work Andy! Big difference so far. This app and the forums for support have been awesome for me as well!

Yes sometimes I am clumsy or slow, weak or just feel inefficient. Not every day can you be your best. Try to put it behind you.

Not a BP instructor personally but a good friend is. Be prepared to spend a lot of your own free time learning the new tracks. Every 3 months as the new releases come out you need to be very familiar with them. That is 10 songs to learn. I have attended the classes a lot and got bored of the same tracks over and over. I…

Don't forget sit ups, push ups and burpees!

Yes taking care of yourself is good for the mind. Best of luck!

International Delight flavored coffee creamers. No wonder I gained a lot of weight! I was glug, glug, glug pouring that stuff into my coffee. Now I measure 2 tbsp and no more! It's 70 calories, I imagine I was using 250 calories per cup of coffee.

Firefly good for you for taking this route instead of just saying screw it and heading through the drive through. Good job!

Your body needs no less than 1200 calories a day. (Assuming you are female.) Please eat more.
-
That is a horrible thing for someone to say!

You know my friends were shocked I hated it. Lol. I tried 3 times with 2 different instructors. (Both of which are apparently "amazing") I like group fitness typically but this was just boring. I was sweating buckets but the enjoyment factor was so not there. I like bootcamp and CrossFit because I get to move around and…

What a great story. You should be so proud. Hats off to you!

Well done. You look fantastic. I am glad you made your dream come true!

No not necessarily. Not everyone will get hooked. I personally hate it. But I do think that if the original poster has an opportunity to try he may really like it. OP: Try all the things that you can because it has to be something you enjoy. It's much easier to go if it does not feel like a chore.

Oh I agree completely! It's been an emotional roller coaster for me too. But well worth it.

I did that when I first stated to lose. After 4 month I stated to track then realized I could have been eating way more than I was and still lose. I am glad I learned that lesson soon rather than later.
