Hi! I just started on Jan 2nd and I'm open to new friends! I'm trying to lose 60 lbs and I'm 47 years old. Thankfully, I'm not diabetic, but I struggle with sugar addiction and am really trying to watch my sugar intake.

Congrats on an amazing loss! I think taking a break sounds like a good idea. Maybe 2 weeks off will give you time to process what you want to achieve next, if anything.

I'm a sugar addict too and the holidays really messed me up. In a way, it's good that I ate my way through Nov and Dec, because that led me to MFP and developing healthier habits. This is such a great idea! I'm so glad to read these other posts and realize that I'm not alone! I'm making One-derland my first goal. I'm 5'7 and started MFP at 231.5 lbs. My ultimate goal is to lose 60 lbs. 70 lbs would be great but I'm trying to be reasonable. I'm 47 and losing weight has definitely gotten harder. Good…
