I also got an AncestryDNA kit for Christmas. Sent in my DNA and am excited to see what it says when it's processed. I never knew my Father or anything about that side of my background. Even without the DNA results yet, using the site to try to build a family tree has been mind blowing. I've lost track of time so many times…

Some great suggestions! Thanks! I think I'll order a few of these recommendations to get me started and also use the web. When I find recipes on-line that we decide are "keepers" I'll print them and start compiling my own "go to" cookbook! B) o:) <3

I like the idea of a Farmers cookbook! I'd like to take advantage of joining one of the farm co-ops in my area to get fresh seasonal veggies, and perhaps start to see if I can grow some of my own? Thanks!

Progress not perfection! Getting healthier and fitter is a process. For some of us, change is a baby step at a time, and every person's journey is their own. <3

Thanks Trina! I was getting really frustrated. Guess I'll need to just keep on keeping on and have faith that it will resolve itself! Have a good day!

56 yrs old, recently diagnosed with insulin resistant diabetes, not on meds (yet), struggling to try to get my bg readings in range through diet & exercise. I'm 70lbs over weight. Deal with fibromyalgia, recurring kidney stones/cysts, and general anxiety disorder. Just sent a few friend requests. Would love to give/get…

Serious question: What if you have insulin resistance and are supposed to limit your carbs?

Same here! Recently diagnosed with Insulin Resistance and trying to keep my blood sugar in range is stressing me out. Seems impossible to stay on track with food OR exercise. Really could use a motivation/accountability buddy!
