Week 2 check in. Down with flu this week and mostly resting in bed. Iβve looked back at my weight loss journey over the past 8 months since starting in June 2024. Seems that apart from the first month which was higher, Iβve been losing between 2.5-3.5 lbs each month, on the lower side the past couple of months. Not greatβ¦

I know youβve ordered already but if you need one the next time, by far the best trail running shoes Iβve ever had was a saucony xodus menβs. Iβve got wide feet as well and those shoes were really good for me. Good luck with the shoes!

We are still here to support you no matter how many threads you do :) Iβve not got a thread now myself as I wasnβt in the right frame of mind to maintain it. Wow, your weekly losses for March are great! Donβt worry about the splurge day. You were doing very low cals so a splurge weekend should not do you much harm, if at all! Onwards and downwards :)

Yes, itβs eating a small portion of nice things! This was was in a 2 hat restaurant (like 2 Michelin star restaurant - we donβt have Michelin stars here, I donβt know why) and it was a sampling of about 9-10 plates. I took pics of 6 plates but forgot to take the others lol.

This is the degustation lunch we had at the riverside restaurant. It was sooo good. Hope the picture is not too big (and I changed my profile pic to the view from the restaurant!).

Good on you for tracking and tweaking. I think data gathering is crucial especially if it has been an unusual day or week and you never know, 2300 may still be a deficit for you if youβve been really active! My record for eating early was 12.01am in the morning lol. I was sooo hungry but wanted to wait till the next day toβ¦

I lie the phrase Microscope March :) Maybe for this week, record your daily intake and see how you fared with your average intake for the week? I do that too since Iβm hungrier on some days and crave for certain foods (like junk!)and having a weekly average letβs me know if Iβm on track or not.

Hi Tracey, I also came off a three day splurge day last week. I think we all need these breaks especially if weβve been dieting for some time. I didnβt weigh myself but have given myself 2 weeks to get back to goal weight before even thinking about weighing. Keeping your upper weight limit to 157 seems a really good ideaβ¦

Good luck with the intuitive eating! I think thatβs one of the best methods for long term weight management. Hope your stress level has reduced for you. And yes, relosing is a real pain!
