  • Do you have another hybrid that you are following? If so, would you share?
  • Hi Cathi, I have been the ONLY one posting and I look forward to having another active member! Stacey
  • I've gone through 2 Fitbits now and not sure I would buy another one. I found that my phone also tracks my steps (Galaxy Note 3) - however, for it to track that I need to always have my phone on me so it tracks. I really like using my HRM. The chest strap can be worn right under my bra line so it is not uncomfortable and I…
  • Feel free to add me as well!
  • @yogicarl - I hybrid my programs because I get bored doing the same thing all the time. I love weight training but feel that I could benefit from adding a program/routine to incorporate flexibility also. You can hybrid anything, even Jillian Michaels with other flexibility DVD's. These two are just programs that I wanted…
  • you can modify all moves so it does not affect your feet. I use a ice water bottle and roll them when mine flares up. I also found that a good support shoe during the workout prevents additional discomfort. Body Beast is a weight training program whereas Piyo is a combination of Pilates and yoga so as with any exercise…
  • Sorry I was MIA - I was out of the country for a few weeks and just able to get to the message board again. If you want in the group please friend request me so I can add you. I have a couple hybrid calendars you can use. Unfortunately, my Piyo was not shipped yet so I will be doing Beast until it arrives. Thanks! Stacey
  • I did in 2007 and after 2 months of pursuing my dream job (or what I thought at the time was a dream) I had to have an unexpected surgical procedure which put me out of commission for 3 months. Everything I had saved to give myself 6 months to start and pursue my dream was spent while I was unable to work (paying for…
  • Hi Joan, I will post the link to the group once it is set up. Stacey
  • The workouts from Body Beast are great, and although I prefer to push my limits with heavier weights, I think this time I will stay with a moderate weight and just focus on improving my form and being better with my meals. I have lost some flexibility so thought the pilates/yoga would help with that.
  • not at all! :)
  • Welcome Back Leann! Kids keep us going throughout the day, especially the little ones! Congrat's on your new addition. I'm a mom of 2, but they have both flown the nest. I help my boyfriend raise his twin 16yo daughters, work full time and decided that since I'm an old chic I needed to find a hobby so I am training for a…
  • New Friends are always a plus when we need a little motivation! I'll send you a request now!
  • I am an Insanity drop-out! It's definitely NOT my soul mate workout....
  • Welcome Tracy! I think you will find that the people on MFP are awesome motivators! I have never heard of IIH or PCOS either. I've suffered from migraines but once I started eating better they went away. Glad you are here! Let's do this! Stacey
  • Keep telling yourself what you want, visualize your goals. Find pictures of what you want to look like, determine what you need to do to reach that goal. Making your goals in steps allow you to reach the final destination. It's ok to change your goal as you progress too.
  • Visualize your goal YOU. working out is only 1/2 of the battle, the other, well, it's foods. We are all faced with such difficult decisions - do we want healthy or do we want easy. Picking easy gives us more calories, sodium, fat, and less of what our bodies need. I am doing a book club on Facebook starting June 1st using…
  • If you are doing the 21-Day fix you eliminate the shake altogether and just eat real foods in it's place. (a red and yellow container). If you want to use a protein shake look for a shake mix that is low in carbohydrates and has at least 17g of protein. I use Optimum Nutrition Hydra Whey (Turbo Chocolate) - it has 30g of…
  • Hi Heather, I am not familiar with Zija but think it is always great to keep motivated individuals connected! Stacey
  • Just wanted to update my status. The trainer I was using pretty much dropped me because we were not training in person (I hired her as an online trainer to provide me with my meals and training routines). She became too busy for my questions and I felt like I was not getting anything from her other than a cookie cutter…
  • I am always looking for added motivation! Would love to connect with more like minded individuals!
  • Hi Rebecca, I am currently training for a figure competition (June 2014). I hired a online coach to help me with my meals and routines. I've done some on my own, but even with have the macros from other sites, I struggled with WHAT and WHEN to eat. I am currently following a custom carb cycling plan and have lost an inch…
