8 pounds in 5 weeks is great progress! Patience is going to be the key to getting to your goal, just enjoy the journey.

You're right, I only lost 130 pounds following the myth of calories in<calories out. Silly me.

I lost 125 pounds in 2012. I am just now getting to the point where I don't feel fat. It takes awhile for the mind to catch up.

Breaking your humerus is no laughing matter; just keep tracking and eat at maintenance. Don't worry about losing while you're healing from an injury.

Feel free to add me... looking to drop 30 pounds.

I don't track when I have "cheat" days... maybe I should track once just to see how much I eat on those days.

I believe Andrew_Roarr may be a bit of a troll.

I've been going through something similar. Lost 130 pounds in 2012... kept it off for 4 years. Went through a job change and a couple of moves and lost all motivation. I have gained 30 pounds back in the last 2 years. I'm starting today so I don't have to start later.

"What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!" All kidding aside, I have a few friends who are on Keto and have had major success. With that said, it's not necessarily Keto that has made them lose the weight but being in a caloric deficit. Keto is just what works best for them to remain in a consistent caloric deficit.

It is that easy. It's diet fads and gimmicks like the "fat smash diet" that have made it difficult. There are overweight people because they are not following a balanced diet, but a complicated fad diet that ultimately leads to failure and a regaining of all weight that was lost.

I heard something very similar to this on the radio earlier. A Catholic Priest stated that self-control becomes much easier when we become more charitable and focus on others needs above our own. Needless to say, self-control is easier when we are not so self-focused.

You're not that fat (when in actuality, they are fatter).

Eat off the kids menu. You might even get it for free since you're short. ;)

Ignoring hunger, especially when you have calories to spare, could potentially lead to binging.
