You don't have to have weight loss surgery to lose weight. That is a choice for you to decide and not your doctor to make in the end.

I log as I go. It is easier for me to remember what I have eaten. Plus it keeps me focused on my goals, and helps me to be a more mindful eater. But to each his own.

How about caffeine free diet coke? Caffeine is a diuretic.

Way to go!

Lol but... I have made a swim buddy at my ymca pool. We started our plans at the same time as a resoulution. She does KETO and I do the "AVOID KETOSIS" aporoach. We each respect each other's choices. It is interesting to watch and compare our weight loss progress and swimming progress. It is possible though to be a odd…

I was thinking of over eating the dried fruit when I wrote what I wrote. But as a type 2 diabetic, usually it is better to eat a filling piece of fruit than a dried piece of fruit for your blood sugar. There can be a place in your diet for dried fruit and other dried foods (unless you want to be in ketosis ). I personally…

Fruit sugar (fructose) is "sugar" fyi. Dried fruit is concentrated fruit sugar and weighs per gram than does the fruit it came from. Eat the actual fruit if you want to cut down on your simple carb ("sugar intake") intake.

Got to rule out a vascular issue like a dvt or problem with a valve in a vein. Also to rule out lymphedema. Get to a Dr and get it checked out.

I do hope you consult your doctor before you start a new diet. Such changes could throw your meds off.

Swimming. It enables me to have a great workout, something I can't do on land. Making a New years resoulution to fix my diet, I choose MFP app and I am now 1 pound shy of 30 pounds lost this year.

Don't let the turkey keep you from soaring with eagles. Let her comment roll off you like water on a ducks back. Hugs

It still has no sugar. No significant amount of calories.

I loved the momentum program. Had to quit WW when WW started the "free food" scam.

3 people wooed me for this post above. I am starting to feel I have some "woo stalkers" wooing me.

Ask your gym managers if some fans can be installed perhaps.

Likely most of that 2 pound scale increase is due to water retention. Pretzels are high in sodium. Condiments can also be high in sodium. Just continue to log ALL YOUR FOOD INTAKE accurately. Even your cheat foods. Cut back on sodium intake if your dr says you should try it.

Start with a good multiple vitamin and mineral supplement. Jmo

Fruit has calories. You should log it when you eat it.

For all we know arnold could have used anabolic steroids. Arnold was an elite body builder and what worked for him probably won't work for you in all honesty.

Report this scam to your state attorney general and the BBB. I am sorry you got taken, hopefully you get all your money back. Hugs

Try BRAT diet. Google it. Be sure to include chicken noodle and chicken rice soups. To avoid getting too much sodium go for healthy choice soup, Campbell's healthy request soups, and other low sodium soups. Costco makes a great chicken soup they sell in their deli department. Hope this helps. *candied/dried ginger chunks…

Try a new to you excercise activity of some sort. Or do something physical that you used to do. Motivate yourself somehow. Say every month you lose some weight or meet a heath goal; give yourself a prize. I joined mfp as a new years eve resolution. At the end of each month if I follow my plan, I get a prize. The first…

1.25 pound a week average is a safe weight of loss so keep doing what you are doing. The tortoise beat the hare in the end. Don't panic. Keep on keeping on.

Hmmm. Your Heart is a muscle. There is one example why you need muscle.

Good advice! My swimming does seem to help me to avoid binges also.

My trigger foods are salty snacks like chips, fries, crackers. Once I start eating those foods I can't stop eating them. I am a food addict when it comes to those foods. I have made the decision long ago to not have my trigger foods around. Those trigger foods don't have much nutrition to them anyway, just fats and carbs.…

You probably should eat a good portion of your excercise calories back. Try aiming to eat 50% to 100% of your excercise calories. Why? Because your body needs fuel for exercising, and for building/repairing muscles. *Don't forget to keep yourself hydrated also.
