  • If I could delete the above I would, I discovered at least this morning, when i went back and looked at my phone, the calorie adjustment was there for *today*.
  • p.s. I get that maybe I can go into my health app (like samsung health tells me) and copy over the number of calories in steps and log it as an exercise, that might be worth doing.
  • Again? In the last 4-5 years i've had about 3-4 weight loss/gain cycles... The most recent one ended in October.. Currently about 240lbs (I was 230 in October).. My earlier efforts (also been here about ten+ years on and off, maybe not all with same account, also premium now for motivation) had recently gotten as low as…
  • I've hired personal trainers twice when I was with Bally Total Fitness many years ago... I found the ones i hired mostly focused on training how to use the equipment in the gym (long story short, they recommended a few minutes of cardio warmup, a number of weight machines at 12-20 reps and 3 sets of each, if i could do 20…
  • Hi - I could use some additional mfp friends.. I like to watch other's progress and use it to help motivate myself... My diary is public as of now and i tend to hit 'complete' every day, i don't usually log exercise but steps get logged for calorie credit for me.. I've lost 20lbs so far.. That's "since december" but really…
  • I take risperdal, been my main med since 1996. I am losing.. Simply logging meals, drinking mostly just water, limiting snacks, and targetting 10,000 steps a day. I was 257 pounds in december, i am 242 now, i have lost 8 of those pounds in the past month when i started here again.
  • Worse than antidepressants perhaps, I take antipsychotics and mood stabilizers both of which are known for weight gain.. Still I'm at about 15 pounds lost since december and between march and early june i did nothing (weight stayed the same.. Right now it's coming off quicker, i'm aiming to be UNDER my calorie goal when…
  • https://status.underarmour.com/ reports 'degraded performance' with this site, that may be why (?)
  • Mine's behaving similarly...
  • One thing i find helps is not drinking calories, drink just water as much as possible. I sometimes also have juice with medicine because it helps it go down better. I was drinking iced tea (lightly sweet) and when i did that i was more maintaining weight and not really losing, when i switched to water i started losing again
  • Looking for a few MFP friends.. I am just getting started AGAIN - I started in December and got sidetracked when covid hit, I cleared my friends list because they were all inactive too... Since December I've lost about 9 pounds but i've got a lot more to lose.. I'm obese class 2 on BMI.
  • Returning user, Motivated now that I'm near my high weight, Have lost 30-50 pounds before with this app (twice), and it's time to do it again... Would like MFP-Friends - I like to see other's progress it helps set the bar
  • I keep having mental health difficulties which interfere with my ability to lose weight (allegedly medicine affects metabolism, plus they are tranqilizers so they make you lazier), my last serious weight loss effort HERE had me down to 175lbs, then I had a crisis, and they have come up from time to time, such as a…
  • I'll combine some above advice about drinking a lot of milk, but mention that this morning I both had milk in my smoothie as well as whey which is an additional source of protein. After a recent -- period -- where I was unable to take care of teeth as well, it feels like with the extra protein I've been fitting in, my…
