I have an AW too and I just enter my logged exercise from the watch into my MFP because having them linked was annoying me too! I don’t record any additional steps I take (I log my 2 hour dog walk each day) Then I’ve got them both linked to the health app which gives the overall view of my data :)

I do Jillian’s app work outs and have done her dvds for years. I’ve always burned about 150cals per session sometimes more or less depending on if I push myself or not. I hike alone with my dog all the time. I just make sure someone knows where I’m going, I know my route, take a map, take water and don’t attempt something you’re not ready for just yet :)

MFP tells me to eat 1200 which I know isn’t enough. When I had my watch/Apple health synced to mfp - mfp wasn’t giving me the same calories for my logged exercise and it was adding an extra 400 cals a day to the health app which made it too confusing to keep track so I un-synced them and now I log my exercise cals…

I know it shouldn’t bother me but I like all my data to match up :) I only really took notice of the dietary info yesterday but it’s given substantially different figures for the last few days. I just wondered how that can be when it’s only taking food logging from MFP? :)
