  • Yep, I'm here too. Sydney area.
  • Last weekend I took the train to the city and started my run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, from there I ran around the Botanical Gardens and then around the Opera House. I then continue on along the water and back over the bridge. It was a great 10 mile run!
  • Hi. I’m an American living in Sydney for the last 12 years. I don’t remember ever a time when I didn’t run. I think my first race I was 8. I’m now a marathon runner with 14 marathons under my belt and I have lost count of how many half marathons I have run. I travel all over the world to run races.

  • I drink coconut water after my workouts, It has lots of potassium for repairing muscles. After a marathon I always drink chocolate milk.
  • Has your diet changed? meaning are you eating more because you are hungry? Your body is going through a change and may want to hold on. Keep it up, one week isn’t enough time and I would see if you can do that work out more often. Feel free to add me I have lots of experience in running.
  • Feel free to add me but I’m a runner and in training for a marathon . I also go to the gym for weight training and some of the classes. I wish I had a dog but living in an apartment with a full time job hasn’t helped.
  • Runner’s world either through Facebook or online is a great place for insight and information on running. Why do you feel the need for a special diet, just eat lean protein, veggies some fruit and a good fat coming from nuts and avocados. Monitor how you feel and perform with each meal. It’s called training for a reason so…
