If your goal is to finish without walking... maybe. It depends on the terrain you are training on and the terrain on which the race is being held. Plus your general fitness, determination and ability to resist getting pulled into other people’s pacing. The only thing I would caution is don’t get so caught up in your goals…

Like others have said, get it looked at but I have had runners knee and for me it was a combo of not having good shoes and trying to do too much too fast. Better to just do a 5k and avoid injury than really hurt yourself and get sidelined for weeks or months.

I enjoy yoga, but I also really enjoy that is convenient for me. It could be spin class, Zumba, or meeting up with a friend at the gym. Anything you think you will enjoy that fits into your life :)

Oh that sounds like a good idea. I also started going to yoga classes near my house after baby had gone to bed. It can be good to have some time to yourself to relax, unwind, and get a workout all at the same time.

Pretty soon your baby will be helping. My 13 month old runs around like a maniac. I just can’t wait til spring where days are longer and I can take her outside to run and on runs/walks pushing around her jogging stroller.
