I have ovarian failure which is unexplained and went into menopause at 37 for some weird reason. Can't be reversed sadly. So I take hormone therapy to keep me almost normal. Glad to hear that apparently it's possible to loose weight!. Im ok with the fact I might not loose weight. I have kind of accepted it now.. I think…

I think this is the group for me. Middle aged with lots of middle. I'm struggling with motivation, I take medicine which hampers weightloss but I have to stop focusing on that and look at getting fit for my health. I could do with a few friends to help motivate me.

I have premature menopause. It started for me when I was 37yrs old. I can relate to some of the things you say. It's really tough. Hormones put of whack is so so hard..no one understands unless they experience this. Because menopause is not supposed to happen this early, my body has been really unwell.. like really…

I don't have M.S but my husband had a scare with it last year. It was the worst year of our lives. Completely deviated us as we have young kids. He wants to dance at his daughters wedding and ride a bike with his son. He has a clinically isolated form of it CIS. He has symptoms which are permenant but exacerbate but not to…

I average 2 rest days. Right now I'm fighting a viral infection with chronic asthma so I'm resting a lot and doing light activity. Normally I run every other day , kettle bells bar and free weights for resistance , rowing on the other days. I'm trying to to more resistance training on the days I rest from running. Recently…

Jiu jiutsu is a serious workout! I don't do jiu jiutsu I do a different M.A but have done in the past with Brazilian.. very intense and challenging sport. Not to be underestimated at all.. I used to crash very hard after training.

When I was obese I wasn't lazy! I walked every day, did martial arts and did stationary cycling 3 times a week.

I do both and I highly recommend it..i also punch my husband and he punches me. He's a good person to punch because he's trained very well, very tall, very strong.. if I can get my moves through his guard then I could do it on anyone. small print : admittedly its in a martial arts club and when I punch I expect the other…

I'm 5"4 and was in a healthy normal low weight.. pregnant with first child and put on 88 pounds/40kg!! I actually stopped weighing myself so it was probably a lot more at the top end. I only weighed in at a "start" weight when I had been keeping to a diet post partum for 3mths.. but we will say it was 40kg. 🤣 I gradually…

Oh no! Fatigue is hard. Your body thinks it needs carbs. I used to know the science behind this but a lot of people break diets when they are fatigued.. it's so hard to stay strong under those circumstances and its normal. I have had problems with keeping candy.. the problem is that I eat it.🤣. If I don't have access to it…

You can do this!!! I have 3 kids ♥. It's probably the hardest thing I have done but I do it for my kids. I remember the first time I stepped in the scale I was 40kg heavier than I used to be.. there is only one way to start. It hurts. A LOT!!! Because ypu mentioned ypu feel down on your appearance I will say this; Don't…

This comment is probably not going to be liked very much because we live in an age which is fueled by constant divices and activity. I'm of the opinion that its ok to be bored. We fill our lives with so much stuff, so much social interaction, so much activity. Some of it is meaningful and some of it is pointless. Perhaps…

I can relate to everything you wrote. I'm asthmatic and regularly have sever symptoms. All my life I couldn't run or blow up a balloon either.. Its like one of those things I never thought I would do. Improving my fitness has improved my asthma and now I run for pleasure and stress relief. Not as good speeds as you on your…

I hate the gym! It's not my thing. I love my own music, the capacity to work out when ever I like and I like my own space.... I do running, kettle bells and weights, and have a rowing machine, I do martial arts and mountain biking with my 3yr old strapped to the bike seat once a week...oh my god that's hard!! I live in a…

I'm in menopause in my 30's and find it very challenging to loose weight sometimes. I hear it's common. I'm strict on my logging and work out like a demon, changed my eating habits and finally I'm seeing some shift. I realise that i wasnt strict as I could have been. some days I move less due to fatigue and aches so bought…

Awesome! Keep going at it you will hit the 170's for sure. I weigh every few days. I hear that people are divided on if you should weigh in every day or once a week.. I wpuld go with what ever feels good for you. My 2 cents- If you find yourself obessing or getting too caught up in slight variations (which happen and are…

Keep going! It's the consistency which is the key, never mind the bumps in the road. Put it behind you. Everyone has a bad week of eating from time to time.. you've got the long game.
