Honestly, I'd be a little embarrassed probably but I'd heed your advice. I'm teaching my boys now, they want to lift heavy but they have poor form. I preach form is of utmost importance, drop doan on weight if that's what it takes.

As far as cardio I'm only doing 30min. Sometimes 45; but, I'm kicking my own butt with the weights. I guess which is why I'm gaining a little. Alatariel75 is right. The other thing that is happening is your body sheds sodium and other electrolytes when on keto; so when you are off it can retain it once again. So basically you are better hydrated.

Starting the keto thing again myself. I gotta do it to keep my blood pressure down. In a few months I've gotta take another physical and if I fail it I'm out of a job. The first time I did it I lost 42lbs in 8 weeks but I was working out like a madman.

Macros are very important here, especially when busting through a stand still in progress. Your body will keep trying to find a new set point for your weight which is why you stop losing weigh.
