  • When I went plant based-I didn’t buy any substitutes for six months. Why? Because I didn’t want to compare it to meat. I wanted to forget what meat/cheese tasted like. So I learned to cook plant based meals, from scratch. It’s actually how I really taught myself to cook. Nowadays I grab veggies burgers, and vegan cheeses…
  • I’m a bit of a nerd so I listen to: SciShow Tangents The History Chicks Stuff you missed in History class Sawbones BBC History Extra Podcast The History of England Other ones I listen to randomly: The TryPod Confidently Insecure The Darkest Timeline Undiscovered Useless Information Podcast
  • Dark soy sauce. It’s one of the few things I keep a back up in stock. I don’t use a lot at a time but I just love the flavour added to some stir fried veggies or even to dip some naan bread in. Also it’s my basic go to when quickly making up some tofu (dark soy sauce + nutritional yeast and into the air fryer).
  • Feel free to add me :)
  • At times my partner has worked out and I haven’t. Right now I go to the gym and he doesn’t. He has been having us go for a family walk 3-4 times a week, where he pushes our daughters wheelchair (because it makes it more like exercise in his mind). I’m not always wanting to go for a walk but I do it to support him, he…
  • Hey, feel free to add me. Not a new Mom (my kiddo is 4) but she requires newborn level of care day to day, so learning to make time for myself, and not just making do. My goal is to be healthier and stronger, not so much a number on the scale. So far it’s working!
  • I’m 5’2 and 35. I used to be skinny fat, very small clothing size but 124lbs, but looking at pictures I looked awful (eating disorder-when I say I look bad I mean everything about it. My skin has a gray/yellow undertone, I looked weak and sick). Currently I’m working on strength, and while being smaller is my ultimate…
  • I’ve been vegetarian/mostly vegan for 13 years. I say mostly vegan (some people call it practical vegan) meaning I cook vegan at home but if I’m at a restaurant I’ll eat an egg based pasta. My partner was a chef (he loves vegan/vegetarian food but still eats meat) and we are big foodies. So it’s not always easy food when…
  • Hi, I have around 100lbs to loose. My daughter is non mobile so a lot of my days end with a sore back as we do a lot of lifting during the day. I work a weird job and feel guilty spending time cooking (but I’m doing this not just for me but for her).
  • Hi-you can add me, I can loose 100lbs (I don’t really have an end goal, ultimately I am aiming for strength and stamina gains to better care for my daughter). I love to eat my emotions, but I am trying to use other coping methods, to some success over the last month.
  • No is a complete sentence. I don’t explain myself. I just keep saying a simple no. I tell them if I get hungry, I will let them know. I do accept an offer for tea if given, even if I don’t particularly want some. I don’t feel the need to justify my actions, and my family (who are all big offer you everything in their house…
  • At the beginning of quarantine it looks like I fractured something in my foot. I could barely walk for several weeks (and it still hurts now). I fell hard off the wagon, adjusting to life at home etc and not being able to even do something basic like go for a walk (ironic because I feel on a walk). I really miss the weight…
  • I gained about 4lbs at the start-I had been working with a trainer 3x a week. It’s very hard for me to fit in exercise at home because my daughter requires newborn level of care so when I’m not working my partner and I are caring for her and trying to stay sane. We are trying to take her for a half hour walk every nice day…
  • I’ll be happy to be your accountabilibuddy! I have 80ish lbs to loose (I’m more concerned about being able to pick up my daughter in the end than a final size/weight).
  • Add me! I’m 34, a working Mom (2 jobs) of one complex needs kiddo (another full time job, she’s 4 but is non mobile so lots of lifting, moving, and entertaining her). I have around 80lbs to loose but I’m more focused on gaining strength and endurance as the kid keeps getting bigger despite requests that she stays little. I…
