I alternate between days for cardio and days for body-weight resistance exercises. One day I do cardio--jogging 2 miles weekdays and longer on weekends. The next day I do body-weight resistance exercises--squats, heel raisers, pull up, push ups, and bicycle crunches.

I usually do mat calisthenic exercises, which includes the squats and heel raisers, every other day. On days when I am not squatting and heel raising, I jog 2 miles. But I run longer (4 to 6 miles) on weekends (usually just Saturday or Sunday).

I do a regular room workout (5 to 6 times a week) of 100 squats, 100 heel raisers, 30 situps and pushups which can be done anywhere; so I do exercise on vacation. I especially like to add in a 2 mile jog 3 times a week whether or not on vacation, but vacation days allow me to jog more than I do when not on vacation.
