  • I didn't have it but my sister did. She was able to get rid of it after about a month of antibiotics. She felt better after the first week and good as new after the month was over. Just take the meds as prescribed and you should be fine. Hope you feel better soon.
  • I personally prefer to diet alone. Less unsolicited opinions and "advice". Set your own personal goals and motivated solely by your own ideas.
  • 6 days into my diet break. After the 3rd day I put on 5lbs of water weight, which I thought might happen since I increased carbs and sodium also increased. Then yesterday I was down a pound from day one of my diet break. I suppose the pound loss is just from the deficit and my body just caught up. Idk, but it's pretty…
  • I really do not think it's a tear. It's just tender. I feel fine walking around and taking stairs but squats and lunges or running will not be happening.
  • Sometimes they are okay for a meal on the run. I wouldn't have them every day. I used to make smoothies which were essentially meal replacement shakes they had protein powder and fruits and vegetables about 300 calories. They kept me going in the morning for about 2 hours or so then I was starving. All in all I would say…
  • Ugh, pulled groin muscles suck. I can't do anything right now. Maybe I'll do T25 stretch. Hoping this will heal soon. I guess I have to take at least a few days off.
  • I love Mt Dew but been without it since the day before Valentine's day. Tried diet dew and it was gross.
  • Heart rate and blood pressure down significantly.
  • I rarely get bit and have never been on a keto diet. I can literally go an entire summer without a mosquito bite and all my friends will be covered in welts.
  • I didn't cut carbs and lost 30lbs in just over 3 months. I cut out high calorie carbs like breads and pastas because they weren't worth the calories for such a small amount of food.
  • BC doesn't cause weight gain exactly, intense hunger from the hormones causes excessive eating. Depo makes me so hungry.
  • I did month one 3 times before I could do month two. Protein powder isn't cheap but it will help get you the amount of protein you need. MFP is just a suggestion anyway. You can pick different macro numbers for your personal goal.
  • So many times. I have never completely lost all the weight needed. I am a few pounds heavier than I was when I stopped last time. This time I am taking a diet break on purpose with a start and end date. I wish I had known about diet breaks last time. Just hope I can come back to a deficit after next week when my diet break…
  • Semantics.
  • I'd like to add that I was going to wait another week myself but. My weight loss was slowing down. I was eating at a deficit that should have given me 1.5 to 2lbs a week loss but I was losing less than one to 1.1lbs. My energy was gone was losing motivation. So I decided to take it a bit early. I have it circled on my…
  • So much more energy. I killed my workout yesterday.
  • Currently I am trying a diet break. I've never done this before but so far it's helping. 3 days in a diet break is just eating at maintenance for 2 weeks. There is a big thread in these forums that go into more detail. Basically it's supposed to bring your hormones like leptin back to normal. Look up diet breaks and give…
  • That crap is bad for you. Causes heart issues.
  • I can burn 2000+. Some days my TDEE is over 4k. 12 hour shift on my feet constantly walking and lifting a collective 35k pounds of product.
  • 3 meals are only important if you feel that is the way you need to eat. Plenty of people I know skip breakfast and are in a healthy weight range. I have to eat 3 times a day plus a snack or 2. I just can't make it on OMAD. Occasionally I will eat only 2x a day, but that is very seldom.
  • Exercise at whatever level you feel comfortable at and do it at the best time of day for you. Most people can't sleep well if they exercise before bed though, especially if it's intense. I like morning workouts to get my day going. It energizes me. Everyone is different though.
  • Cucumbers, carrots, pickles, cherry tomatoes, popcorn. All low cal options to snack on. When I worked a desk job I'd have lunch at my desk before my actual lunch break and spend the entire break walking around the block. I'd bring my sneakers with me to work. So I'd walk around in slacks or a skirt and sneakers. I lost a…

  • I get that too. My phone is like a body part. It's always with me. Just like almost everyone else I know. Put the food on the scale open MFP log the food. It takes 2 seconds longer.
  • Eat at a deficit
  • Started my break yesterday. I will end it in 2 weeks. We will see how it goes.
  • If I'm over by 200 I'll intake 100 less for 2 days instead of 200 in one. Spread it out it makes it easier.
  • As far as scheduling time for exercise. What I did while in school and working full time was literally make a schedule of daily tasks and follow it. I used excel to make the schedule I was even able to make time for social events and down time. It worked for me and made things much more manageable and less stressful.
  • Same here. I'd like to be 135 because the highest weight for my height is 145. This is completely dependent upon body composition if I'm lean enough at 145 I'll maintain if I'm still fatty at 135 I'll lose.
  • First time I lost weight I had an office job. I ate at my desk before my actual lunch break and walk around the block for my entire lunch break.
  • You look fine to me.
