Taking my first diet break.
This week will start my first diet break. I have a few days left of prepped meals. So after that I will begin eating at maintenance for 2 weeks. I'm a little nervous because I've never intentionally eaten at maintenance before. I'm scared that I won't come back from the break. I still have around 30lbs to lose. I have been…

Pulled groin what to do?
Not sure how it happened or when it happened, but my groin hurts. It's no debilitating but I cannot workout at least not the lower half of my body. So what's the best way to heal this injury. Foam rolling, stretching, rest, ice, heat? This sucks.

Realizing how exactly I put on the weight
So I began this weight loss journey in February. Currently I'm on a diet break so I am eating at maintenance. For my weight and activity it is about 2300 calories. Today I have eaten 2000(approx. goal weight maintenance) I am completely satisfied I cannot eat anything else. I have been eating exactly the same foods that I…

If you had to pick a "diet" which would it be? Just for fun and curiosity
We know "diets" don't work in the long term but if you had to pick one what would it be. For me if I had to it would be Paleo. I eat similar to this anyway so it wouldn't be as hard. How about you? Paleo Bible diet Military Keto Atkins Insert any fad diet

Wth? An ad for this detox tea popped up on my Facebook news feed.
This is hilarious. It only cost 60 a month and needs to be paired healthy diet and light exercise. Just thought I'd share because it's crazy how much money people will spend for stuff that doesn't do anything but lighten your wallet. https://get.skinnyfit.com/detox/supercharge-weight-loss?hash=DLS&afId=1065&agId=41

Into onederland and then some.

2 months in 21lbs gone.
35 female SW 204.4 CW 183 GW 135 I am 9lbs away from being just over weight instead of obese. Less than 40lbs away from healthy weight and 48lbs away from goal. I am excited and hope I can keep this up. Also, I'm down more than a pants size almost 2 sizes. Size 12 is just a bit too tight but 14 is too big, I was a size 16…

Right calories for me
I have decided that 1400 calories is just the right amount for me. Currently I am set to lose 2lbs a week. The more I lose the less weight per week I will lose. 1400 is perfect for me because I can fit my ice cream and peanut butter into my goals. I will remain in a deficit until I hit my goal weight and based on a few…

Diet break
I found this article on diet breaks. What do you think? Is this good advice or a bunch of garbage. https://www.student-aesthetics.com/articles/diet-breaks-to-keep-losing-fat-explained/

"Fitness professional" bad advice.
I just had a conversation with the owner and trainer of a gym. I told him I had 2 pieces of toast a piece of ham and a tangerine for breakfast. He said that eventually that will be too much food for me. It was 312 calories(used a food scale). Then he tells me that I should fast for a couple of days at a time, he didn't say…

NSV
Restless leg syndrome is gone. I have lost 18lbs and it's been at least a week since I have experienced restless legs at night. My sleep has improved so much because of this.

Forgot to weigh meat before I cooked.
Sometimes I forget to weigh meat before I cook it. I add back in 25% to the cooked weight. Should that be accurate enough for calorie counting purposes?

Went over today.
I went about 450 calories over today. I may go over tomorrow too if I'm not careful. Have a celebration to attend. It's okay though, I'm still at a deficit for the week. I just wish I would've stayed on track today.

Thinking about going to a gym
I have never really had any luck with gyms before. I tried going to the gym in college and nobody would help me. I joined a Zumba class several years ago I wanted to learn about strength training but again nobody around to help. My town sucks. A town about 20 miles away, also the town I work in, has a gym. I can get a…

Pant sizes are all over the place.
I have a pair of size 16 and a pair of size 12 that fit the same. It is so aggravating that different retailers size their pants so differently. I know I'm not a 12 I'm closer to a size 14 but I am no longer a 16.

Foods you would never eliminate.
My 2 favorite foods that now matter my health goals that I would never get rid of are Ice cream and ribs. If it was possible to stay healthy on those 2 items alone I would. Best foods ever.

Love/hate relationship with Depo.
It's great no periods and only have to take it every 3 months. However, it increases appetite and may make you retain water. I received my shot last week and weight loss is not happening and even up a bit. I know it's water weight but it still sucks. Every time I get the shot my hormones are out of whack for the first…

Where do you notice change first?
I have been on this weight loss journey more than once. Every time I lose weight I see it in my midsection first. Just wondering where other people lose inches first.

How much exercise is too much?
I work 3 days a week at an extremely physical job. I walk approximately 10 miles a day and end up lifting thousands of pounds by the end of the day. I will burn 1800 calories before 7am on days I work.(Warehouse work order filling/order picker). 4 days a week I do Insanity but nothing else except chores. I am thinking…

Lost 10lbs in 3 weeks is that safe?
I didn't mean to but I have been losing weight fairly rapidly. I am 35, female started my healthy eating habits and exercise on February 13th. I was 204.4. Today I weigh 193.8. I don't know if I am losing weight too quickly. I'm not losing this much on purpose I'm happy about it but is it safe? I am considered obese so Idk…

Help! I know nothing about weight lifting.
I am 35 female and want to start lifting. I have dumbbells and a weight bench but they sit there most of the time. There is no gym in my town and I need a routine. I have looked for videos online but most are just quick videos with a few moves and no instructions. I'd like to find a video that I can follow along.

Modify insanity.
I'd just like to say that if you're obese you can do Insanity. It's hard and will kick your butt. However, you can modify some of the moves. Some of the jumping exercises I just step out instead of jumping, I use the wall for pushups. This is my 3rd time doing Insanity I get great results and quit. The first time I did the…

My work is extremely physical should I work out those days and should I eat more or keep to 1500 cal
I recently began working an extremely physical job, I only work 3 days a week. However, those 3 days are intense. Much of my day my fitbit thinks I am actually working out. I am attaching a screenshot of my typical work day. Well I actually left work 2 hours early that day. So it could have been more. I am doing Insanity…
