Left atrium, sorry about that.

I always look at them and determine if they have what I want. I observe them training others to see if what they are training seems appropriate and with proper form. The bio’s of all our trainers are posted listing their credentials, you could always ask for them so you can compare.

Thank you!

I wear a HRM too. I am just interested in Watts, RPM’s, resistance and calories and time of course. Thank you.

Oh yes, sorry I wasn’t clear, I just want the computer on the bike that shows stats. I don’t need a big old screen to provide workouts and pretty scenery, I have tons of workouts and part of the reason I want a bike at home is to create more workouts for my classes.

Wow! Thank you for all the info. I never thought of buying a gym like spin bike, silly me. I certainly don’t need the Peleton’s monthy subscription, I have tons of material to create workouts from. So I need to research different spin bikes. I do want a good computer on the bike.

My favorite dessert is a bowl (no, make that a bucket) of Fage plain Greek yogurt w Splenda, raisins, and Autumn’s Gold granola but when I don’t have enough calories to spend on that, I resort to my Quest bar treat! I think I will try chocolate caramel, thanks for the tip!

I take my dog and a big knife. I text someone and tell them where I am going and text again when I am out. Nothing better than hiking alone!

I just started putting Boca burger on and Arnold Sandwich Thin for a quick breakfast sandwich. If I am home, I add egg whites.

I eat night fiber cereal and a banana, that holds me over until lunch between 1 and 2 when I usually have 6oz chicken and cauliflower rice, dinner is protein and 1/2 cu Nishiki brown rice, Jersey white sweet potato or two servings of other veggies. I try to hold out on dinner until 530-6. I have nonfat plain Greek yogurt,…

I did a Tough Mudder 8-10 miles and 25 obstacles I believe. I had the best time. We did it in a team and were able to help each other over the obstacles. Like someone said, there was a bit of a wait for the obstacles. The run was nothin- the obstacles were the main event. Someone suggested that I wear trail shoes as…

I say spin with cycling shoes for more stabilization.

Thanks bass Chick! I took 12 days off drank a lot of water, a lot of water and am now working out a bit less. I am back to feeling great.

Update! I did it! I mixed and choreographed a group cycle workout. I had to count it all out and write it all down but I rode through it this morning. Not Les Mills quality but I gotta say, it is pretty good! Thanks for your tips and suggestions!

Thanks guys. I bought Yes!go and Spotify to help me out. They list the BPM’s and you can even adjust the BPM to what you need. I love Les Mills. They go to such great lengths to choreograph and the music is spot on. The problem is that I want to create something on par with Les Mills. I just need to put something together…

Wow! Thanks for all the feedback! I bought some apps that allow me to use their music. I personally loathe jumps ESPECIALLY the 4 second ones, I usually sit those out. I am Les Mills certified but can’t use those workouts due to liscensing. I guess my huge concern is getting the beat right on, or maybe it doesn’t have to…

I second Fiber One! So good too!

I log it as strength, as I do the sled or tank with my lifting workouts.
-
Good! I LOVE spin...total game changer for me.

I coach Sprint, my bike says I burn 300 cal when I teach and 400 when I take the class because I can focus and am not floor coaching. MPF has an option in cardio for stationary bikes and you can select your intensity to log cals.

I am 5’6” and weigh 130. I eat about 2000 cals per day. I spin 6x per week, lift 45 min sessions 4 times per week and warm up on the elliptical 20-40 min before each spin class.
-
I love Tyson’s Grilled and ready chicken. I throw the chicken on steamed cauliflower rice, salads for a great quick meal. 200 calories for 6 oz!

I was on rest two days before they were drawn. I will get a follow up draw on the 26th!

Last post on this subject...I did my first spin class after ten days of rest and I mean rest not active rest except for two days. I was able to perform better than I have in months, my heart rate got up and I feel like a billion bucks as opposed to feeling like I was going to pass out. My resting heart rate is down to…

I do have an addictive personality too. I have been to a nutritionalist/ Registered dietician for my diets and he has me on 1800 cals per day baseline and more for exercise. After being on rest for over a week, I am realizing that perhaps that isn’t enough, really my exercise has been excessive. I spoke to a Sports…

I got my labs back...creatine kinase was 600! The range is 1-200. High CK indicates muscle damage. My kidney and liver levels were high too. Drinking a gallon of water and electrolytes is a chore but it is what the doc recommended along with rest. I am starting to feel like doing some light exercise so I think I will walk…

Yirara, thank you, I have never heard of anorexia athletica. Who knew there was such a thing?

Aokoye, that podcast was very informative. They start talking about overtraining at about 1:20 min for those interested in the meat of the podcast.

I will check out the podcast and maybe forward it to my boss ;)! Asochable, I am very concerned about losing my level of fitness and my gains but frankly I feel so blah and tired, I am really listening to my body. I think that this episode has taught me to do that for the first time in my life. Thank you for addressing it.

Thank you. The thing that I have learned that is most remarkable is that not many people know about it. I teach spin classes. I am supposed to teach Wednesday and Thursday. I am not feeling right yet so I put out a request for a sub for my classes. My boss asked why I needed a sub basically. I told her what was wrong. This…
