Frozen mixed berries and maybe some frozen banana if I have it, a lot of spinach, protein power (I use vanilla or chocolate), unsweetened almond (or some other) milk, a bit of cocoa and cinnamon, powdered peanut butter, maybe some dates.. Sooooo good. Chocolatey, refreshing, peanut buttery...

I believe body positivity was originally intended to help those who had been "disfigured" such as by an accident. I think this is a wonderful goal. I do feel empathy for people who are subscribers to this movement in its popular iteration-accepting fat people. The world is harsh and body criticisms are intense, and they…

Honey, don't worry! You're back on track... I've been in a similar boat. I gained back 15 lbs maybe a year ago. I was mortified. I've since gotten back on track and lost it. You've recognized it and are working on it. That's all you can do. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Maybe some grilled asparagus, wilted garlic spinach, or mashed cauliflower? I suppose it depends on what the main is.

I usually don’t go for yogurt because of how tart it can be, but I tried some Brown Cow yogurt and it was sooo good. Creamy. I loved it. As far as products I’ve seen and want- Cadbury has a new chocolate peanut cookie chocolate bar that I want to try although that is quite solidly a junk food.

Bobs Red Mill Protein powder has maybe 20 g of fiber per serving and doesn’t taste bad. You could also try Ezekiel bread or oatmeal. Good luck to you.

I think they’re fine. Just don’t eat a ton and fit them into your calories/macros. If you can find a smaller one, maybe go for that - like a Montreal bagel. You could add some avocado or something too. Yum

Thank you guys so much! You’ve offered me some great advice, and I really appreciate it.

The chive on there looks like a really nice idea !

Adding spices like cinnamon, cocoa, and powdered peanut butter are really nice

It’s ok. Life and learn. We, as humans, are bound to do things imperfectly. You enjoyed it and had a nice meal. I’d say the only thing to do is get back on the horse. A pizza is probably 1300 calories roughly and a bottle of wine (I’m guessing) 500, so you may be bloated the next day or have less weight loss (if that’s…

Some foods I make are Egg salad sandwich with lettuce or bean sprout or tomato (not loads of mayo) on high fiber bread. Or I make chicken thighs (cut up and speed cook) and veg with microwave rice. Also high fiber low sugar pancake mix with some fruit and Pb is very quick.

Some foods I like are Montréal bagel, zataar seasoning, knorr chicken bullion in a container. I also recently tried stevia. It’s interesting to try it for the similar taste sugar.

I think you’re right. I had dessert and wine and that made it difficult. Thank you for the advice. I might try eating less during the week by maybe 100 cal. Thanks !!

I just dump my veg in and don’t measure but that may not be advisable.

Maybe you can ask him to keep it in a separate area or go out for his treats? He could go out for some ice cream or something instead of bringing it home? Or avoid your absolute favorites? So, if you love chips then he could buy pretzels instead, for example. Or you could have a set time where you indulge with him? Like on…

Sorry for responding again! I don’t know how to count the amount of exercise calories burned from strength training and am too cheap to buy a heart rate monitor, so I just ignore those calories 😬

Also, my activity level on MFP is at “little to no activity” because I assumed that the Fitbit would add it in.
-
Yes, I have negative calorie adjustment turned on for a Fitbit zip. It usually adds about 150 calories, but I usually eat over the number it gives me hahah (but still in deficit).
-
Ah, so slow it down and stay above BMR? Thank you!

I walk 7500 steps a day on average and usually go to the gym 3x a week. Although, I am taking a break for two weeks. I’ll stick to 1500 and see how it goes!

Hi, that’s a good point. My current goal is to lose 20 pounds to go from 171 to 150 pounds. I am 170 cm (5 foot 7 inches), female, young, and 171 lbs (77.5 kg). I am trying to lose 1.5 lbs a week.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you! You sure answer a lot of my questions I’ve noticed. Very helpful. I’m glad that’s not how it works. I don’t see how it would work that way when some people wake up at 6 AM and eat at that time and others wake at 12 and eat later and sleep later etc.

Thank you!!

I think I am too

Avocado, chicken thigh, whole wheat bread, kiwi, berries, mango, oats

What is CICO ?

Do they list calories at the restaurant you visited? I’m curious. They didn’t at mine.

Have an awesome brunch!!

Bob’s Red Mill has some. I think they’re sweetened with monk fruit and sugar. The flavors are vanilla, chocolate, and chai. I think the sugar content is 2-4 g per two scoops. Good luck!
