This is encouraging because I used to be 115 and I would love to be there again. I plan on getting back into a walking routine and sneak in hiit when I can. Any tips on diet? I need easy and I’m okay with eating the same thing everyday lol. I just need it to taste good. Any specific low calorie go to foods you liked?

This is inspiring!!! I love food. So food is my weakness and I have a sweet tooth lol. So I may try low carb. Anything specific that was your go to meal? Did you cut out desserts all together when you lost? I haven’t recently because we just moved, but I typically walk 45 min a day. In the past I walked anywhere from 25-35…

Hahaha I drink black coffee so I don’t log it🤣

I have my Calories set to lose 2lbs a week. That’s why I’m curious why I haven’t lost 6 pounds? I have done this before but it’s just been too long.
-
I weight or measure everything. To make life easier I just scan barcodes on most things and weight out the serving size.
-
I’ve been doing it for 3 weeks consistently. I dropped from 162 to 157 the first two weeks but I’m back up at 159. I just need to figure out what I’m doing wrong so I can continue losing.

It is now!

It’s been 5 years since I’ve had an eating disorder. I’m not severely overweight. I’m just not happy where I’m at. I would like to be a little more comfortable with myself.
-
If it’s accepted by the standards how is it too low? I’m not starving myself. I’m 5’4. I was severely underweight (115 if not under that) so I know a lot of it was to do with me starving myself for so long. I was a teenager. And I didn’t know better. I didn’t know I had an eating disorder until I was out of it.
-
5’4”. I had my hormones checked 2 years ago after I had my son. They were fine. It took me over a year to get to prepregnancy weight of 140ish. I just can’t get under that. Most of the extra weight is in my hips and thighs.

I am!! The only thing I don’t weigh is fruits and veggies other than potatoes. I do a lot of walking and running but it’s hot where I live still. I’m not sure. I just had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago.

Before I was anorexic, I was around 125 pounds. I am comfortable at my weight. I have tracked inches. I have recomped to an extent. My waist is 26in. But my hips won’t budge from 38. I know it’s low for most people. But I’m literally pretty full on that. I don’t calculate any veggies or fruit in other than potatoes because…

This is encouraging to hear! Every time I post about it. Everyone tells me I don’t need to lose weight. But for me, I’m happiest at 120-125. Just trying to get back there.

I’m writing this one down🙌🏼❤️🤤

I make a lot of things from scratch and don’t measure everything. It’s just how I tend to cook. I also eat at a lot of places where I don’t have access to nutritional info for their menus. I’ll just count things as a bad meal and give up. I know a lot of my struggle is mental. I don’t know what to eat because I’m scared I…

Love this! Great wisdom! Mindless eating is something I struggle with! I make a lot of things from scratch and eat at some mom and pop places so it’s hard to be accurate. So I’ll get frustrated and quit. I have a bad meal and it turns into a bad day/week. I just have to get past the mental hump that I can’t do this.
-
I’m struggle with logging. I feel like I’m not getting it right so I’ll get frustrated logging everything and quit. I will endeavor to try harder. Thanks for the advice❤️❤️

Not really seeing any weight loss. I fluctuate about 5lbs or so back and forth. I’ve lost about 3 inches in my waist but not really anywhere else. It’s very frustrating. I’m getting tired of trying.
-
I did for about 5 months. Nothing changed except for like maybe a 1/2 inch.
-
The patience is were I suck. I’ve tried and failed to many times and quit easily now.
-
I understand that. Just looking for some motivation. I’m really discouraged with my weight and body right now. My hips have stayed at 41inches for over a year.

@Jthanmyfitnesspal this is super helpful! thank you!

I have tried it probably 4 weeks total just off and on. I'm cutting portion size but it doesn't seem to help. It's so hard knowing what to put on your plate. One person says this food is great for you and another says its horrible. I don't know what to eat is the problem and what foods to stay away from. I know that…
-
I don't have the option of running outside unfortunately. I have a baby. Just trying to exercise while he's sleeping.
-
this has been my problem too. I struggle with meal prep and sometimes food gets wasted which I hate. my husband and I are picky eaters. Its just hard to find things that taste good to eat.
-
@flowerhorsey Wow girl thats awesome!I do some lifting...I love it!
-
@nhorton5 Thanks girl! This is super helpful!

@BeccaLoves2lift WOW girl! Thats such an inspiration! Would you be willing to share what you ate on a typical day? I think thats where I am failing the most. I don't have a good routine. I'll skip breakfast, snacker lunch, and then realize I'm starving at supper and overeat. I don't know what to eat at that calorie…
-
@peleroja Time is my worst enemy I think. I dont make time to do the things I need to succeed! I just need to be more diligent to log and exercise. Its so easy to just quit when you slip a little and then have to start all over again.
-
@janejellyroll wow thats awesome! I so wish I could get there. I just keep failing. My biggest problem is I make excuses for myself to allow myself to eat whatever I want. Its a continual cycle unfortunately. I'll do great start losing weight and then crash and burn lol.
