Yes I think that will be a good plan. Thanks!

Sorry I realise I was quite broad. I like doing strongman activities I guess... dragging a dog sledge, working with the atlas (lighter versions!), I don't mind treadmill so I guess running would be quite nice. The thing is I am quite strong as I lift but cardio wise I can't run a mile. I want something that I can do…

Sorry but mine can sometimes take that long. If you are going heavy and need the rest plus warm up sets. All adds up. Wouldn't necessarily do it everyday.

Stupidly low amounts

I do look out for your comments on the message boards as I found them insightful and entertaining... "less male" ☺

I had this issue. I got tested for MS due to tingling on the left side of my body and general fatigue/fog brain. Had a blood tests and MRI scan and all was clear except deficiencies in B12, folate and Iron. Anyway neurologist said that deficiencies in all these things was making me ill. I started supplements and I'm much…

I have got better at eating more salad but there is a limit to the volume I can manage. Awesome thread though!

Thanks both - I will look into that

48 is not old - don't be daft! If you think you can or think you can't you are probably right!

Squat 32.5kg OHP 21kg Bench 24.5 kg Row 24.5kg DL 50kg I have been lifting for 10 weeks but SL for about 6. I have the app which had been getting me to add fractional plates to the OHP and BP started at 15kg I am female 5'1 weighing 80kg. Before this I did a 45kg DL with no breaks in between the reps. I did have to miss…

I do have the app. I get that but I just want to give my back a break. I might look at deloading. Thanks

Thank you. I will definitely look at form (worked with a PT) and I'm going to spend some time perhaps doing lower weight with higher reps

Can you do a Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday work out? That way you only need to concern yourself with getting up for the 2 workouts. For me I am more successful with the following: 1. Work with a PT focussing on lifting weights 2. Focus on lifting weights 3. Cardio comes from my step count/Bike ride to work 4. Sound out the…

I like this idea, doing a 12 week cut at the moment with the aim to lose 12llb of fat but I might cut it to 8 and do this for another 8 weeks or something

Yes? No? I don't know?! ... is this a trick question :D

Week 1 day 2 Total Calories: 1592 Protein: 160g Carbs: 97g Work out: 4.89km walk Today was a rest day. Ensured that I got a walk in to aid recovery for my back - which is definately feeling the deadlift from yesterday. I signed up for a weightlifting comp in July this year, so that is exciting. Need to establish a proper…

I think you are massively blowing this out of proportion. It's human nature to form a community with people who share commonalities with yourself. I'm a member of an lgbt group because I'm gay and I like to chat about health and fitness with people who are the same as me. I don't see an issue with her wanting friends who…

You should be proud of the fact you run at any speed. Such a great achievement! I can probably go for 5 minutes before I need to stop!
-
Definitely need to start doing this.

Get a new ring and go again!!

My PT at the moment has me doing 6-12 rep range to build "muscle endurance" - his words not mine. Hoping to start Starting Strength at the end of my PT sessions (10 weeks - 2 down). I have had a few people comment that I should be doing 5x5 or what have you but at the moment I just want to be told what to do by someone who…

Woohooo! I found confidence in the weight room is half the battle.

Nice. How long has it taken you to walk that far? as in mileage overtime to hit Rivendell? How many miles do you walk a day? I am averaging 2.5miles-3miles a day and want to increase it slowly
