Honestly I've always just given it an educated guess. That's what I do at holidays when I can't measure out everything on my plate. Look up 'mashed potatoes' and add an ex half serving. I'd rather over estimate than under estimate. Its probably not the smartest thing to do but 37 pounds gone..it can't be that bad.

I don't. But I'm not as spastic as a lot of people. I'm a 'eat the fry at the bottom of the bag and don't worry about it' kind of person.

When your prolactin levels are high there's very little that can be done about what it does to you. Its not a head thing its your body literally screaming at you to eat. My levels were 6x what they should of been, my doctor cut my medication dose and watched me closely to make sure it didn't make me backslide or cause any…

Its ok. It really is. It happens to every single one of us. Just try to do better tomorrow.

I have PCOS and have lost weight simply by watching how much I eat. I didn't cut out anything - carbs, sugar, nothing. The only thing is I notice my belly isn't wanting to budge and my period is even more whack than usual. But the pounds are coming off.

Supplement. I keep Ensure in my house for days I can't eat enough.

I don't know anything except what I've seen on social media, and it looks like a bunch of b.s. to me.

No one on the face of this planet should have to defend their existence. No one. What you think of them..doesn't matter. No one has to apologize for existing. Just because you don't agree with how they live their life, and just because you don't think they look very good..does not mean they need to disappear. People have…

No one said anything to me when I smoked. In fact I got extra breaks at work for it. At 22 I was told I looked cool for it. No one says anything at all to me about the amount of alcohol I consume. In fact they think its kind of cool and they're impressed by it even tho alcoholism runs in my family and I've almost died of…

People smoke - *nothing* People drink alcohol - *nothing* People eat like crap - *nothing* People do drugs - *nothing* Fat person *breathes - Everyone "Watch your health."

I did it once and lost 70 pounds. Its a great diet if you can stick to it.

I'm down 35 pounds and don't see a difference but everyone around me does, and I've been able to buy smaller clothes. But when I look in the mirror, I don't see it. I'm 5 pounds from my goal and it makes me want to lose more!

Ask a doctor. Use a calculator. Use common sense.
-
Why do people feel the need to come here and ask these types of things?
-
It doesn't bother me, but I know one thing is for sure - whatever it takes to motivate someone is ok with me. Be it a new year, a new week, a new month, or a new day. Some people just need that feeling of being able to start over fresh and clean. Do you.

Usually every day, but if I'm having a bad mental health moment and I think its going to destroy me, I'll skip for the day.

When I was told that I was pre diabetic. Every time I would go to the doctor I would face away from the scale and ask them to not tell me what the number was. When I found out I was pre diabetic I decided to weigh myself at home. 265. When would it end? When would I stop? There was no end in sight. I had put on 65 pounds…

I gained 3 pounds :/

The air and the water cause cancer where I live. You may as well do what you want. If it ain't one thing it'll be another.

You only eat 1000 calories a day?! You’re basically starving off the weight! Let me tell you something; you are setting yourself up for failure. Whatever you lose is probably going to come back, and you may even gain back double. Why? Because what you’re doing is called a crash diet. Not a lifestyle change. Nothing about…

This whole thread is disgusting. She's a human. With thoughts and feelings. Living and breathing. If you think she is disgusting for her weight, if you're DISGUSTED by something so trivial as someone's weight - you're a disgusting human being. I can even begin to describe how low you are. I'm disturbed right now.…

I'm 29, so barely in my 20's, but I'm annoyingly active. 5'8" 230 (down from 265). Add me if you feel like being bugged!

I get it, its hard to ignore. I had a cousin, who has struggled with her weight her whole life, come up to me at Christmas dinner and scoff and say "You look like you've lost a lot of weight." to which I responded "I have." and she rolled her eyes and said "Well I'VE gained a lot." and I just shrugged and said "*kitten*…

I ate a lot more than usual on Christmas eve and Christmas day and just weighed myself and I've lost 1.2 pounds, hitting a 35 pound weight loss milestone. So..no regrets here. I would of been fine having gained a few pounds too. I lost it before I can lose it again, and part of LIFE LONG health is accepting that sometimes…

I haven't tried since 2nd grade but I'm going to go with exactly 0.

I just go back to it. I don't linger on it. I don't put too much thought into it. I just go back to what I was doing. I feel like in the past, beating myself up over mistakes was what made me quit. 'I ate half a pizza so screw it. I'll just eat whatever I want the rest of the day.' Its never done me any favors to dwell on…

I have PCOS and have had success in the past with Keto. Like a 75 pound loss success. But I gained it all back (my fault!) and have currently lost 32 pounds just watching what I eat. The only thing I can really say is that PCOS...the hormone tummy doesn't want to budge. I'm losing weight everywhere but my stomach. Which is…

Honey it is only 2 pounds, that's nothing! Definitely not something you should beat yourself up over. And it is definitely water weight. If I go out on a Saturday night and drink beer and eat pizza I'll wake up 2 pounds heavier the next day, buts not actual FAT. Its water weight. You have to sit back and think 'did I…
