1000 calories a day is way too little. People have this idea in their head that if they knock it back it'll help. Sometimes you need to INCREASE calories to see change. I wouldn't take it below 1200. You're basically starving off weight. Not only that, eating so little can cause you binge, and also cause you to give up,…

I can't function on any less than 10 hours of sleep and I'm fine soooo..*shrugs*

I ate a cheeseburger for lunch. It fit in my calories, so I did it. I eat burgers and chicken nuggets several times a week. I've got kids, and no will to cook. So..I shove it in my calories and move on. :D

Its ok to have a bad day, a bad week, and even a bad month, as long as you don't give up.

You have to change how much you're eating. If you can't change what you eat, take a look at your portions. You also need to look at everything that is about to go into your mouth and question 'is this worth it?' I could eat a candy bar, but I don't want to waste 300 calories on it, so I don't. If you stick to it, you will…

There are 2 types of hunger for me. 'Eh' hunger. Where I can deal with it. Drink some diet Dr Pepper, play some video games, go to sleep. It won't bother me. Then there's 'I'll burn the house down if you don't feed me' level hunger. That's when I eat something. Like last night I just wanted a thin crust chicken, bacon,…

My original goal loss was 40 pounds. I'm at 30 now. Once I hit that 40, I'm not sure if I'll want to stop so I can keep some chub on me, or if I'll just keep going.

Well, the only exercise I get is walking around Walmart and maybe doing dishes and laundry. I've pegged myself as sedentary.

Hi darlin', I too am pre diabetic. I had diabetes with 2 of my pregnancies, and it runs rampant in my family. I've lost 30 pounds so far and my fasting number went from 115, down to 108, then about a week ago my doctor did a random finger prick, about 45 minutes after I ate a huge dinner and had an energy drink, and my…

I really don't know what clicked with me. About 3 months into something just changed. Don't get me wrong, I still have a burger and some cookies, but I stay in my calorie limit and have somehow taught myself to thinking 'is this really worth it?' ALso, its extremely important to just not give up. Bad days, bad weeks, a…

I've had huge losses the first week. But I'm very big. In 3 months I've lost 31 pounds, but I started at almost 300 and its very normal for someone more than twice their body weight to lose a lot very quickly at first.
-
My only advice is to just not give up.
-
I used to but I don't anymore. I would find that I would wake up a pound or 2 heavier and it would take me days to get rid of it and having a cheat meal just isn't worth the set back. I will save the cheat meals for maintenance.

You just have to move on. For a lot, if not most people, this could be the beginning of a downward spiral. DONT punish yourself for it. It happens. Take the loss and keep moving!

Pickles and fruit. I always keep a jar of pickles and some fruit salad around.
-
Sugar free creamers are great but to me they just have a bite to them that I can't get used to. I've started doing a splash of skim milk and a couple packets of sweet n low.

I’m afraid to lose as much weight as I need to lose because I don’t want to lose my butt. And also my thighs and hips. And most of all my fiancé likes chubby girls and I want to be what he prefers even tho he SWEARS he thinks I’m beautiful no matter what

People stopped encouraging me the second they found out I was serious. 5 pounds? Yay that’s great! 10 pounds? Whoa look at you go! 15 pounds? Wow you’re really serious aren’t you? 20+ pounds? Can’t you just have one free day? Why do you have to care so much about what you eat? You’re such a buzz kill.

Mom of 3 here! I’m annoyingly active. Add me if you wanna ☺️

Honestly I don’t know. I just don’t. I can’t even walk 80% of the time. I currently am having an attack in my hands and it’s making hit hard to grip things and move. I basically just lay there like a log. However I have lost almost 26 pounds just watching what I eat.

I finally got my period. Weeks late and boy she’s a doozy. My skin had cleared up, I’ve had no cramps, and i usually gain a couple pounds in water weight around the time she’s about to pop up - none of that. But oh well. I wouldn’t mind if that became a regular thing. 😂

I can only tell if I’m hungry if I’m in pain. That sounds bad but I’m not a big eater. I don’t snack around or eat out of boredom, so I eat when my body yells at me to eat.
-
I lost 1.2 😂

I wanted to comment on here sooner. But I reached this goal. I've actually lost 23 almost 24 pounds. On to the next! Good luck!! :)

Well, Thanksgiving is tomorrow sOooOoooo

Slim Fast, Special K diet, Lemon Juice diet (with the cayenne pepper) the cabbage soup diet, Weight Watchers, Keto, Atkins, Rainbow..I'm sure there's more I just can't think of them right now

You all can add me. I'm very active!

I don't have much advice, but I just wanted to say, growing up my brother was chubby. Short and chubby. When he hit puberty he shot up and there was no sign that it was ever a thing. Same goes for me. I was a chubby little girl until I hit 15 and the fat on my body moved to all the "right" places. He will most likely be…

I don't know if there's any health benefits to it but if it makes you happy, carry on!
