Proud of you and rooting did you. Just remember his is a lifestyle change not a diet. The goal is build a healthy relationship with food. So make sure you don’t restrict too hard and get burn out. And to consistently over eat either. Just find that healthy middle.

I eat about 1,800 calories a day. It equals out to about 1 pound lost a week. I might give myself a little leeway 300-500 calories if I'm particularly active that day.

I think it's mostly useful if you are body building and wanting to see your macro nutrients. Like keeping tabs on your protein intake and stuff. If you are wanting to build muscle you need to see the nutrient breakdown of your meals. But as far as for me? (and most people) just keeping a simple accountability of our…

No disrespect. But she must be lying or doesn’t know how to count her calories correctly. Unless she’s like extremely active or 7 foot tall. She is not eating 3,000 calories a day. Lol.

Like, my goal is to lose 10 pounds - I’m not going to eat carbs for 2 weeks to lose that ten pounds - then I’m going back to my “normal” habits. However, a lifestyle change IMO is education. Learning how food works…

Our minds like to conceptualize calories in 24 hour periods - because that's how we understand time. But the important thing is that you're eating spending more calories than you take in over time. Hence why a 500 calorie deficit equals one pound of weight loss per week - because 500 x 7 is negative 3,500 calories. One…
