  • This morning, I decided to create my own breakfast sandwich.... 1 Light Thomas English Muffin 100c 1 slice 2% kraft American Cheese 50c 1 piece Oscar Meyer ready to serve canadian bacon 20c 1/4 cup egg white egg beaters 30c I toasted the English muffin, microwaved the egg beaters and combined it all for my "Egg McMuffin"…
  • I do those SHAPE videos (like the magazine). They are only like $13.99 at Walmart/Target or a friend told me she got a few at TJ Max or Marshall's for only like $4. They are bikini bootcamp/countdown and I think they work those areas. One thing that makes me really sore is getting on all 4s and pushing your heel to the…
  • My trainer told me that you should have breakfast like a "King", lunch like a "Prince" and dinner like a "Pauper". I think it is OK to have 25% of calories for breakfast. I agree with others though, egg beaters, lower calorie bread (I eat Sara Lee Delightful Wheat bread- 45 calories/slice) and I use water in the oatmeal.…

  • You can do it! My wedding was the biggest motivator ever to lose extra weight. I took a picture of my dress and hung it up so when I was heading to the pantry, I saw that dress :) AND if you are going on a honeymoon, even a BIGGER motivator since you will be in a swimsuit :) GOOD LUCK!!!!
  • I have this OLD-SCHOOL 8 minute abs and buns workout and it is a KILLER. I do not think they sell it in the stores anymore, but you could check amazon.com for a used version. Just 16 MINUTES!!!
  • I work at a school TOO! I believe it is half of my problem. I can eat candy or snacks and not even notice because I am go go go ALL day long! I know what you mean about school lunches but our school does low fat so that helps. It is hard being a teacher because SOMEONE is always bringing treats! I am glad I joined! HAPPY…
  • I did join this site about a month ago but today was my first posting. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and support. I know I can get through this with all of your help. I really liked Loretta's comment about getting on here instead of eating :) I appreciate the motivation!
  • Two years ago, I was put on celexa and that was to hopefully diminish the obsessive-compulsive thoughts. IT may be some form of that but the medicine does not seem to be working. Possibly a fix in the beginning (or just in my head). That is the reason I would like to get off the medicine if the thoughts are still bothering…
  • I think we might BE! Have you talked about it with your husband? Mine seems to think it is a normal thing to worry and that I am just fine. I do believe it is obviously something we can control, but then again sometimes worry why it is ALWAYS a thought in my mind. I have never been overweight so not sure why I worry about…
  • I do also agree with you that I DO have an eatig disorder, just not one that has a certain name. I am having trouble finding a locak support group that would be a free facility to attend. I looked in edreferral.com and I live in an area where a group is not offered. I guess I live in the world of convenience and do not…
  • I DO eat healthy, too much, probably. I have found the calorie counter helpful during the day (as I am a teacher and can login all day) but at night is when I tend to overeat and do not log on to track food. I know I am at a healthy weight but when a pound or two slip on, it is a stress-case for me. I am so glad I have…
  • So, I have been to my doctor and she thinks I need to see a therapist. I am wanting some other opinions from those who do not know me. I am a 27 year old girl who is very active, happy, and healthy. EXCEPT, I have these haunting thoughts that last all day about my weight and food. I worry about eating too much food…
