  • Yeah there's definitely a difference if I splurge on some home cooked meals with my brother's family vs. splurging at some burger & fries joint haha. I get quite a lot of heart burn from junk and just end up feeling terrible.
  • I tend to get this feeling at night during my workout. Feels good and only happens when I am losing weight!

  • One thing I like to do is open up a word document and write out the things that are causing me to stray from the plan I'm on. For example, I ate way too much last week when I really didn't need to, and I wrote down what changed in my life that was causing this. One of those eating triggers was that I was coming home from…
  • Was feelin lazy, made a simple white sauce chicken pasta. It hit the spot
  • I've been having a small amount of ice cream after my meals for a lot of them. Didn't affect my progress

  • Yeah I typically use calories as more of a reference point - for instance if I'm cooking a dish I'll watch for how much oil I'm using since it can add up very quick. Generally I haven't been counting religiously though and still going strong!
  • Made a Saudi Arabian dish named Kabsa. Delicious!
  • It took my body about 2 weeks to really fully adjust and not get hungry except for when it's time to eat. Once you get to that point it's just smooth sailing. There's a great video on OMAD Revolution about this that I love to refer to because it's just brilliant. https://youtube.com/watch?v=iDGvXqlEFfA
  • That's an awesome head start! Good job.
  • It's weigh in day! May 21 - 153 KG (336.6 Pounds) May 28 - 151.5 KG (333.3 Pounds) June 5 - 150 KG (330.6 Pounds) June 12 - 148.8 KG (328 Pounds) June 20 - 148 KG (326 Pounds) June 27 - 146.6 KG (323 Pounds) July 5 - 145.6 KG (321 Pounds) Surprised that I lost a KG considering I thought I ate horribly this week. Guess I…
  • I wish you luck and welcome! Looking forward to seeing your progress
  • Thanks everyone :) Weighing in today: May 21 - 153 KG (336.6 Pounds) May 28 - 151.5 KG (333.3 Pounds) June 5 - 150 KG (330.6 Pounds) June 12 - 148.8 KG (328 Pounds) June 20 - 148 KG (326 Pounds) June 27 - 146.6 KG (323 Pounds) 1.4 KG (around 3 Pounds) drop in a week, I'll take it! :)
  • Weigh in day today! As expected my weight loss was slower this week due to Eid, but wasn't slower by much. Lost 0.8 KG (2 Pounds) even with all the huge meals I had this week. May 21 - 153 KG (336.6 Pounds) May 28 - 151.5 KG (333.3 Pounds) June 5 - 150 KG (330.6 Pounds) June 12 - 148.8 KG (328 Pounds) June 20 - 148 KG (326…
  • Oops I meant twice a year lol! If it was twice a week that would be quite tiring
  • That looks like such juicy chicken! Also very consistent weight loss, amazing
  • I seriously need to try Moe's next time I'm in the USA
  • So I'm planning to weigh in on wednesday to track progress, however today in the gym I realized that I was wearing the same clothes as in my original post of this thread :D so I decided to take a picture to compare. The original picture on this thread kinda sucks and the towel is in the way, however I do still see a…
  • Weighed in for the week this morning. I had a loss of 1.2 KG (2.64 pounds) this week, which is great. My jeans are starting to get loose, my work pants need to be tightened more with a belt, and I can definitely see some weight loss in my face. Others around me have also noticed my weight loss and asked me what I've been…
  • Made a high protein OMAD dish today. Chicken in tomato & garlic sauce, with three eggs scrambled in and vegetables, with a side of spicy noodles. Roughly 1400 calories and 110g of protein for the whole dish.
  • So I'll probably be weighing in on Tuesday or something, but meanwhile I just wanted to talk about the effects OMAD has had on me mentally and whatnot. Previous to OMAD, I felt like I was just always hungry. I'd eat a meal and 2 hours later I was ready to eat again. After being on OMAD for nearly 3 weeks now, I can say…
  • So I made today my weigh-in day, and I'm weighing in at 150 KG (330 Pounds). Losing about 1.5 KG per week at this point, which I'm pretty comfortable with. I've been eating between 1500-1800 calories consistently now and had one splurge day where I went over to probably 4000 calories or so, but it was a planned splurge and…
  • So it is basically been a week since starting OMAD, and I have lost 1.5 KG (3.3) pounds. I definitely felt it in my work pants, which were previously a little bit tight on the waist, and are now a little bit loose. I stuck to my ~1700 calories for 6 days, and used the one plate rule when I had to eat at a family gathering…
  • Wow, that weight loss rate is impressive! Looking forward to seeing more on your journey
  • Had some rib eye steak to get rid of... Excuse the kraft singles, was too lazy to go out and get proper cheese hahah. Whole meal was roughly 1700 calories. Saved some calories off the rib eye by trimming off some of the side fat, even though it hurt to do lol
  • Heaven right there, that cheese looks insanely good
  • Sloppy meal hahah but one of my staples... Just some 90/10 ground beef with onions and green peppers on top of rice, with a side of yogurt. Ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, chili powder, all-spice, and a touch of tomato paste. About 1700 calories in total. Arabs tend to put a side of yogurt with every food so I…
  • Thanks! You know, on a typical weekend I would always play mind games with myself saying "oh it's the weekend, it's fine if you eat like crap, you deserve it for working hard in the weekend". Except this time I didn't have to, because I rewarded myself with a nice meal at 7 PM that was within my calorie restriction, and…
