I would suggest a hot bath with Epson salts and the ibuprofen wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I use Erythritol. It’s a natural sweetener that looks and tastes like granulated sugar. It’s expensive so I use it sparingly.

My naturopath had me up my B12 as my thyroid and iron were fine and it worked great, no more hair loss!

A current WW member but really like MFP as well. I find that my calorie allowance is high enough that counting fruits and veggies isn’t a problem.

I have an Apple Watch, which I love. But I share activity on my watch with several people which really motivates me to keep moving.

I live in Alberta, cattle country, and when anyone has a branding, there’s always a feast of prairie oysters!

25,611 (16.96km) and my day isn’t done yet🤗 I went for an early morning walk and then hauled several wheelbarrows full of gravel💪🏼

You need a strong ‘why’. Why do you need to follow this? For your health, to enjoy life to the fullest, do look great in a bikini........there are many reasons. You just need to identify yours and make it important enough to make this successful.

This is similar to WW in that you still need to weigh and measure your food and track it. I’m currently following WW as well and other that I seem to be allowed more food, there’s not much difference. What are you struggling with - WW, figuring our MFP or just following any plan?

I lost 60lb on WW and I’m still an online member. I love the support on Connect. But I’ve hit a very long plateau so thought i would add something different to the mix. It’s only been a couple of weeks and so far it’s been good. I think there are several WW people who do both. Good luck on your journey!

@sophia162 I was losing hair too! It really bothered me. But since, my naturopath has upped my B12 and I take Biotin and everything is back to normal.

You’re doing so well and glad to see someone in their 60’s! Very inspiring for me.I’m 61 and lost 60lb in the last 17 months. I want to be more active and strong and started strength training. And now the injuries have started😝 Trying not to be discouraged but find it very frustrating. Just healed bursitis in my knee and…

@mariekenji26 yes, I do. @emmamcgarity I eat mostly whole, healthy foods on Simply Filling. That’s why I liked SF so much. I try to avoid sugar as much as I can because because I have a terrible sugar addiction.
-
@stelmackw I own a cafe and I’m on my feet for 9 to 10 hours. And then I try to go for a walk every day as well.

I’ve been a WW member since January 2017. I’ve lost 60lb so far but have hit a plateau so want to try counting calories to see if that helps. I do love Connect!

@lynn_glenmont I didn’t like Freestyle at all. I was doing Simply Filling for the past several months and had great success with it. I’m finding I’m actually eating more on MFP. We’ll see how weigh in goes next Friday.

I’ve lost 60lb so far and yes my skin got wrinkly but the up side is I’m off all blood pressure medication, I have so much energy, I can buy regular size clothes, I feel like a million bucks. The good things totally outweigh the bad. I don’t know if you would be a candidate for excess skin removal but that is always an…

@Redordeadhead I weigh my solids and measure my liquids. My portions of food are pretty accurate.

I weigh and measure everything. Been on WW and that becomes a habit. I have it set to lose one pound but quite frankly I’ll take any loss. I wonder sometimes if I’m eating enough but that old diet mentality kicks in. I love that I can check the macros and nutrients at the end of the day. Thanks everyone for your input.
