Me too but I’ve enjoyed learning a bit more about everyone. :)

So gorgeous!

Haha, I am a perpetual student it seems. I’ve got tons of interests.

Ten Facts about me: 1- My name is Lucy (likely mentioned it before but thought I should again) 2- I’m 38 3- I’m from Aberdeenshire in NE Scotland but am half Irish as mother is from County Antrim. My dream is to live in the states though! 4-I adore animals and am desperate to get a horse...or several horses. In fact, my…

I’m from Aberdeenshire so thankfully (or unfortunately haha)very used to the cold. I love living here really but sometimes wish I lived somewhere like Edinburgh as it’s gorgeous and travelling anywhere is so much easier from there.

@LivingtheLeanDream Edinburgh was cold, yes but thankfully it wasn’t too windy and we didn’t really spend any time outside apart from waiting on a taxi. I would have liked to walk around a little but it was too cold for that — I may visit during summer the next time but even then, it’s never guaranteed to be warm. Thank…

Thank you! I’m so excited right now for the future. I haven’t felt that way in a long time :)

Hi Savanna. :)

Hi Donna, I don’t know anything about how the water is digested but I know that I’ve personally benefited from buying a water bottle that measures how much I’m drinking and I highly recommend buying one if you can. Just search Amazon for water measuring cups or something. I also struggle with water intake at times and…

Hi Trish. :)

I started in June last year at 300lbs and still have 100lbs to go after losing over 50lbs. It’s a scary thought I know but I already feel so much better about myself so I’m determined. The more I succeed, the more confident I become.

As Kinny said —there’s nothing stopping you from drinking coffee during IF... I personally really like IF but that’s because I have always kind of done so naturally anyway so it suits me. I also do regular 24 hour fasts and really like how I feel when I do that. It works for some but others don’t feel able to go so long…

Thank you :)

Hi Jo (hope you don’t mind me shortening your name). I started on my journey last June and have lost a little over 50lbs so far. I started at around 300lbs so still have a bit to go yet but I’m determined and working hard. I’m doing CICO at the moment but I’m considering trying a meat only diet (temporarily) just to see…

*sticking with it.

I started last June (2018) because I want to like myself more and I want to feel well, too. I’m happy to say that I’ve been ticking with it. I have still some weight to lose but I know I will do it as I’m determined. :)

Hey there! I was around 300lbs when I started in June 2018. I’m now down more than 50lbs and still have a lot to lose but I understand that feeling of knowing just how long the journey will be. I try to look at it as an adventure and an opportunity to prove to myself that I’m strong enough to do it—and that I matter enough…

Welcome to the community. :)

Hi all. I’m in Edinburgh this weekend for a Loreena McKennitt concert. The concert was last night and was spectacular. I really felt that I have had a real breakthrough this weekend because I felt so much more confident out among people than I normally would do and I also really noticed my weight loss for the first time,…

Feel free to add me also. That goes for anyone.

Hey there. Welcome. Third time may be a charm...feel free to add me. :)

Welcome :)

I didn’t realise there was people out there who still believed in starvation mode.

I was on Cerazette (mini pill) for 5 years due to the severity of my PMS— at the suggestion of the gynae. It helped immensely and I was symptom free the entire time but about a year ago, I was advised to stop taking them. I was told it’s because they’re not recommended to be used for years on end. That was probably the…

I have always suffered badly so I’ve just gotten used to it. Very seldom do I have an easy month. I thought maybe a healthier lifestyle would help but it hasn’t. Ah well. I did read in the forums that someone said weight loss can actually make it worse due to fat releasing estrogen as we lose fat but I don’t know how much…

Hi everyone. I’m having an okay week but haven’t weighed myself in a couple of weeks because I had the period from hell last week and I could feel just how bloated I was. I’m slowly deflating (lol) from that and will be weighing in again soon.

Quite a few ‘Rebeccas’ here haha. Welcome to you all. :)
-
Hi Rebecca. You’re a similar weight to what I was. I have lost over 50lbs and aim to lose 150 if not more. I’ll see how it goes haha. And one of my goals is to get a horse as well :)

Great to hear that you’re still doing well, Justin. It’s certainly not easy but you’re doing it and should be proud of yourself. :)
