  • I purchased a cheap scale for the kitchen and weigh everything. My guessing was way off. I’m finding it beneficial so far and find I can long pretty accurately. I also log everything. A piece of gum is still 5 calories. That way if I’m not loosing I can go back and find out why.
  • Thanks for all the advice. So I had a look over my diary’s and I have been leaving about 500-700kj most days not by choice, iv just eaten enough for myself. I decided to have a sandwich and just accept it, I was very hangry! My food choices have been pretty good so I’m not going to let it ruin my journey. Back to it today…
  • I will workout more and try and use that to increase calories but when it happens on days that I don’t exercise do I just suck it up and be hangry or should I allow myself to eat a little extra to take the thoughts away from completely giving up?
  • I’m on 1200 calories, it’s very manageable. You can eat a lot within your calories by making good food choices. I don’t do meal prep but for example the other night we had a roast. We had lots left over so I weighed all the portions out and froze them for meals on the go and they are already worked out. I went shopping…
  • A friends mum has MS and sorry you have to go through it. Maybe you could join some Facebook food and cooking groups. There a “home cooks passionate about cooking” one and they are amazingly helpful! Anyhow maybe you could try using smell and look. Make your food look good and smell good. Different textures will also make…
  • Would they be classed as standard crunches? Seeing as it’s a different kind of motion to the standard crunches and I can manage at a faster pace? It burns up my sides too whereas normal crunches don’t do that for me
  • Iv always suffered with reflux and a burning stomach was one of my biggest symptoms. I haven’t really had it for about a year. I cut calories 8 days ago and today my stomach is on fire! It hurts quiet a lot and settles after a glass of water. I have no calories left so I’m just drinking glass after glass of water.
  • Haha iv saved it to my home screen so it’s easier to carry than a book 😂
  • Its really good, especially when you know exactly where it’s been and how it’s been raised. My husband was a butcher for a while and the stuff they do to supermarket meat is pretty disgusting.
  • Sent you all a friend request 😊 @dmille2 that’s fine hahaha
  • For my vet tech study’s to be over and I can be qualified
  • I look at how little energy I have and that if I don’t get my *kitten* together my illness (AS and RA) is going to consume me and that my lack Of energy will be affecting our son. I also just want to get back to the skinny hot little me that hubby couldn’t get enough of 🤣
  • New Zealand Which is NOT Australia hahahaha
  • Chilling on the couch watching movies. The weathers crazy here today so I haven’t even stepped outside!
  • Have added you both ☺️
  • I’m the same. I just look at my diary and remind myself I have to get through it or I’ll be going over my calories. I also have my biggest meal for dinner. If I have calories left I’ll have a hot chocolate or piece of toast right before I hop in bed.
  • I’m not sure what cut the butcher used. He uses whatever meat is leftover from our order
  • Our house is 2 adults and a 3yo, the occasional preteen. I cook normal meals for the family but I generally have meat and broccoli. I freeze any leftovers or save them and have them on a night when they want something like pizza or lasagna so I don’t have issues with making something else.
  • Horrible! My stomach is on fire! I thought I could down a bottle of wine within my calories! I managed to but that meant no bread to soak it up or anything good to line my stomach. Now iv woken with such a sore stomach!
  • It’s the weekend let’s have some fun!!!!!! 🤣
  • Drinking wine, half a bottle of wine in and realise it’s not so good to drink a lot when your counting calories! Oh well 🤣
  • I was always on the pill anyway and I was taking it everyday for pain management but before then I would take it a couple days before hand at the highest dose and during until it was over. If I stopped or dropped the dose part way through my period it would stop working.
  • It does stop periods. Speak to your doctor. Something to do with the inflamation. Obviously it depends on the dose your taking too. I have used it many times to reduce it when iv needed to. I was on NSAIDS for 2 years before deciding to go drug free for AS because they were really hard on my stomach.
  • I just asked him to change his photo and he did twice to exactly what I asked! So he’s real. Obviously just likes the ladies 🤷‍♀️
  • I can’t remember you’ll have to ask my husband 😏 It’s definitely him though, he’s using the name burpeez_suuck
  • OMG is he the guy with the abs out and a baseball cap and sweatpants! From Utah? He added me. I told him I’m married, he said he was too. Then proceeded to ask me about my best features and size of my boobs! I see he’s added lots of girls over the past hour too! I called him out on it and he called me Rude
  • Yep, even when I was skinny as anything I weighed high on my BMI, I assume it was down to my muscle, I was riding horses a lot for work and very strong and toned but still above the average BMI. I told people and they all told me if I had lost any weight I would start to look sick. So don’t know how that worked 😅 Now I’m…
  • 25yr old mum of a almost 4yo. I have an open diary so feel free to add me if you like! Iv also been a yo-yo dieter but I’m loving MFP and have found it amazing to stick to! Albeit it’s only been 4 days 😂
  • This is a thread I really needed! Hubby was getting frustrated with iCloud and the Apple ID, we were sharing one because it was easier when we first got our iPhones. He couldn’t log in because his fat fingers obviously kept pressing the wrong key on the password and he got mad and annoying because he lost his contacts and…
