I'm having the same experience. Started at 294 a couple of months ago, now I'm 265 and I barely notice. Other people do though. Trust in the scale and in the people complimenting you, who have more objective eyes.

I weigh and measure all food/condiments/etc. and the 7lb. loss was recorded on day 14.

Eating right isn't easy. I'm about to finish up my first week on MFP and I am DYING for pizza and all things cheesy and carb-loaded. 294 here, and so far I am sticking to it because I am just sick of myself. Keep it up. I'll be glad to see 220 on my scale!
