  • @VegJax I need someone to do the same thing. I've been eating like an unsupervised toddler this winter. You are not alone. I'm getting back to healthier choices, slowly. Pre-planning helps, and I just took my measurements. Those numbers have helped me make better choices.
  • OP thanks for this thread. We just got the first snow of the season today... and I need to move to a warmer climate. I've managed okay today but I thought about food all day! I forget about knitting thanks! I'll have to get mine out! You are not alone for sure!
  • Thanks I ended up just weighing the sauce and dividing it up between servings to make sure it gets logged. Super short time, thanks for the prompt response!
  • Thanks for this thread. I have lost 21 lbs and the scale has stopped...I went and changed my goal info and it dropped my deficit calorie count by 100!! Thanks for sharing the details of your healthy life changes!!

  • Anyone ever use the small, egg-sized white eggplants? I have never seen them before this year. They were a free garden plant that was given to me-I have a ton of them and do not know what the best way to utilize them. They're little-the size of a small chicken egg.

  • I'll be following this thread. I walk/use my treadmill and I want to do more. I like fitness blender, but have not been able to find an app I like.
  • I have them. I have not lost a bunch of weight though. Sorry.
  • It was quite tasty. Next time I will reduce the amount of milk for a thicker sauce. [/quote] I also wonder if you could swap out some of the milk and use chicken stock?
  • OMG! I wish she would finish writing the last book!!!! Sorry, I am a total fan girl!
  • Full time night shift and student here. Feel free to add me!
  • First of all, thank you for being a teacher. It is an underpaid job that is very important to our community. Stress eating is pretty common, so is night time eating. I know I do it because I am on vacation right now and having a very easy time watching my caloric intake, but once I return to work, I will be battling the…
  • I think the umeboshi vinegar or ume plum vinegar is key to the Chickpea of the Sea recipe. I looked it up and it is made from a lacto-fermented type of plum, and is supposed to give a salty/sour flavor. It is now on my list of things I want. I have found that other cultures do wonderful things with food! I have been…
  • Hey folks, I did a fitness blender video yesterday and was very pleased! I am so thankful for everyone's input!

  • I have never really pursued anyone. I have lost interest for: Rudeness, being too clingy/possessive, not liking dogs, not liking the outdoors and camping, being a smoker, having bad eating habits/lazy lifestyle, only wanting to "hang out," being married, and being racist. The last man I went on a date with was nice but…
  • Thanks everyone! I appreciate the tips! Fitnessblender and Hasfit both look like my type of options. Nerdfitness looks neat, but I am a little too cash poor right now.
  • I cannot find the pumpernickel wraps online and they are not available anywhere near me. I live in hickville. If anyone finds the pumpernickel online, please let me know. The Tumaros website doesn't even sell them. Maine has such poor availability on good food!
  • Make a bunch of meals that you like and freeze them in single servings, then mix it up during the week. I have the same problem at work- if I do not bring food I have to choose between super expensive "healthy options" or the cheap junk!

  • I am trying a new technique and thought I'd share. For dinner I made a GIANT low calorie (300 cal.) salad. Its spicy and full of veggies. Its so bulky and spicy, I can't eat it in one sitting. I keep snacking on it, and will not eat anything else, unless it is gone. This should hold me until bedtime and put me at a strong…
  • I do not miss those long commutes! I used to run on the treadmill after work, but now I live in an old apartment building and do not want to bother the neighbors. They are very respectful of my day-sleeping!
