Logging recipes

So I am making kale chips, and I weighted the kale, added the olive oil, and weighted that amount as well. I also weighted the end result. Which weights should I log into my 'recipe' for the weekend? As a from scratch/prep home cook, I struggle with which weight to log in a lot of recipes. I usually just use raw weights for stir frys and such, but with this I am thinking the finished weight of the kale plus the amount of EVOO I used??? Any advice would be helpful.

i log the raw to create the recipe (ingredients).

then i weigh the entire cooked food and use that as total number of portions. (ex: say you end up with 500 gram of kale chips, i put 500 portions)

then when i eat i weigh the portion i take and log that portion. so say it's 100g, i would enter 100 portions.

Ok, that is what I normally do. Its just wild to start with 470 g of kale to go down to 83 grams of kale chips! Thanks for the advice!

yes some veggies are all water and super sad quantity wise once cooked. I find this with zucchini noodles as well (and i don't like them all that much on top of them shrinking to 1/2 their size or less!
