Yes it is, and you CAN do this! Try asking your husband or kids to go for short walks with you, and try to appreciate the little things you see (is the weather nice, birds singing, the flowers and trees, breathing fresh air, how cute your kids are, etc). I'm new to this 'group' thing, but hopefully I'll be able to figure it all out, lol I'm 54, and did MFP about 6 years ago & lost 70 pounds. Now I'm back, to lose it all 'again' (for good this time!) ....so far I'm down about 6 lbs. Its late and I need to get to get some sleep, but I'll check tomorrow and see if this posts…

Could you just walk? When I lost weight before, walking was the most important exercise I used. I did other things 'later', once I had lost some weight, ...but it all started with walking. Even slow strolls would help (if that's possible). Good luck.

Hi again! So how did your weigh in go? Do you have a lot to lose? (I do!) My scale seems to give me different numbers each time I step on it, even if I do it right in a row ...so I'm not sure whats going on with that, .....but I'm not giving up! About to go for a swim. Hope you're having a good day
