Congratulations on your achievements. I am sure if you look at your blood work from the beginning and compare it to now you have improved your metabolic health as well.

This is - and wil remain a very polarized conversation. - I will not take sides here but will encourage everyone who wants to take on the debate whether sugars (refined or otherwise) carbohydrates are unhealthy to read a book in physiology and see what happens to sugar and carbohydrates in our bodies when we ingest them -…

If people ask you "are you losing weight on purpose" - it just show they want to be sensitive to your health. You could have a medical condition (i.e. cancer) that caused a dramatic weigh loss.

@missysippy930 well said - and you can add if a person have surgery it is a very restrictive life style if someone decide to have it. One of my suggestions I have for you @nabilondon82 would be to read Jason Fung's book "the obesity code" ( I know several public libraries who carries the book) - he and his partner Megan…

I is wrong to call Keto a fad. It has been around since around 1920 when it was developed to treat seizures (before we had seizure medications) and is still used to treat that. @FL_hiker. I am sorry you have to go through this. As helpful as it can be to seek advise here, I would let your physician do the testing he/she feel is needed and may even have you see a specialist if warranted. Anemia and iron levels can be complex and using Dr. Google or Dr. Fitnesspal won't give you the answers you…

I think the right thing to do would be to talk with your primary care provider and with him/her develop a goal. You also should talk with him/her about your blood sugar, hemoglobin A1c, liver enzymes (fatty liver), triglycerides and HDL. Your college weight doesn't matter. You may want to search and find your IBW (ideal…
