    whoa....

    this is simply the most terrifying book I have ever read, ever.

    @Motorsheen - really??? Now you have me interested...
    Is it a gory type of terrifying or more of a psychological thriller type of scary?

    @forestfreek

    not gory.... just a "creepy" ... sinister power kinda vibe.

    I'm a fan of most everything he's written. It's well worth a look.....

    I buy a lot of used books from Abe Books .Com.
    It's bound to be there at a highly discounted rate.

    Going on my must-read list for the summer..😁

    Currently reading Mythos by Stephen Fry. It's heavy going. Ultimately I prefer crime/suspense/thriller novels.

    On vacation I re-read a couple of Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe detective books: Fer-de-Lance and The Golden Spiders! Love the Wolfe-Archie pairing and the humor.

    The Hangman's Secret. It's really good, if you like murder mysteries 🕵️‍♀️

    I am retired and for the first time in my life can read for pleasure as much as I want which usually is anywhere from 3-5 books each week. I just finished The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang and One Good Deed by David Baldacci in the last couple of days. I started Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance this morning. I recommend all three. Thank god for online libraries.

    Harry Potter & the Deadly Hallows again. Just finished Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold. I just discovered her and want to read ALL of them.

    Shamed by Linda Castillo (good, but not her best)

    Tame Your Anxiety by Loretta Breuning (interesting and honestly quite helpful, if a bit "woo" at times)

    The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal (so far, pretty hilarious)
