working on The Shining right now, just finished Doctor Sleep(The sequel) and decided to go back and doing them back to back there's a lot of little details that play into doctor sleep

i loved Doctor Sleep despite not caring for the Shining book at all. they're making a movie of it now with Ewan McGregor playing Dan and i'm so hyped for it.

have you read Revival by him yet? came out right before or after Doctor Sleep and i think its the most horrific (in a good way) thing he ever wrote

@BasedGawd412 Out of the Darkness wasn't as heart wrenching as expected. I'm not positive I would really recommend it, but I wouldn't put people off it either.

Thanks for the add buddy. I have a goal of reading 1 book per week for a total of 52 books. Read 24 so far. Finding a book that engages me is hard as hell which makes reading books in general such a chore.

Tears of the Silence starts out heart wrenching but as I read it but as I got deeper into the book I started having one too many WTF and eye roll moments. The author really tries to insult the readers intelligence by calling it her true life memoir. Come to find out, she embellished and greatly exaggerated many parts of her life. Smh

You're sticking with the "highly embellished memoir" genre by following that and Tucker Max up with the James Frey book? Lol.

    😄

The Tucker Max book I got for $2. I was hoping to really like that book but I find his adventures boring so I stopped reading at page 30.

A Million Little Pieces was given to me with high acclaim. I read about the controversy surrounding the book before reading so no surprise there

Last night I reread Homesick: My Own Story by Jean Fritz and it was so flippin' good for a kids/young adult book. I think I first read it when I was 9 or 10 (30 years ago!), and I still recalled passages of it just because it's that well-written...wow is all I can say! Excellent.

I just finished the 2nd book in the bloody jack series. I'm enjoying it so far, but I need to take a break from it. So I'm getting back into galaxies edge.
