I train for strength, so I do 3 days a week Mon/Wed/Fri full body each day. It's allowed me to come from 170lbs squat to 360 squat in just 4 months.

A better idea would be to set weight lifting goals, such as how much you'd like to be able to max, and then start a program like starting strength so that your strength increases along with your weight which is more important anyway. For gaining weight and strength I've always felt weaker and performed worse if I was hungry during, meaning less weight being lifted in the gym.

Agreed with the above, Starting Strength will change your life. But... three sets of one excercise a day? The best for that would be to squat. Squat, deadlift, and alternate between bench and overhead press.

Consume less than you burn and it will come. The easiest answer for you is to just suck it up and say no, it's not that hard.
