I am 5'5" exactly...started at 330 11 months ago. I've lost 165 pounds. I went from a size 28/30 to a 10. Still working :) The loose skin...it sucks. It has tightened up a bit during the 11 months, but I need surgery for sure. I have to tuck my belly into my pants. I wear super tight spandex to run...or it hurts. That is…

Nothing crazy....1000 to 1200 calories a day. I made sure to eat a healthy balance of protein fat and carbs. I also exercise 5 days a week. Cardio 5 days a week and strength 3 days a week. I started with about 15 minutes of walking a day...now I run 7-8 miles a day. Last Sunday I did a half marathon :) Best advice, get…

Of...forgot something I wish I had done at the beginning. Don't just focus on cardio. Use the machines for strength at the gym...or use free weights. Building muscle carries you so much father than just burning through cardio! I do cardio 5 days a week and strength 3 days a week :)

I started on 1/29/2018 at 330 pounds. As of today, I have lost half of me! I weight 165 pounds...lost exactly 165 in less than a year. I ran a half marathon on Su day to celebrate. Not done yet...but I feel SO good :) You can all do it! Celebrate your successes, jump back up if you fall, and look at small victories instead…

I started on 1/29/2018 and have lost 141 pounds since then. I started at 330 pounds, so weight came off much faster in the beginning. Once I went below 200 pounds, it started to slow.

Best feeling ever! Congrats :)

Good job not gaining through all that! My doc told me about the 10% rule to break a plateau. Eat 10% less and exercise 10% more for a week. It breaks the monotony and helps to get you losing again. Going below 1200 isn't bad for short periods of time. Maybe that might help :)

I was shopping the clearance rack at the store and found some size 14 Lee jeans. They were $8...figured I could just save them for awhile if they didn't fit. I got home and expected to shimmy in part way. They fit!!! At my highest in January, I wore a size 28/30!!! I just put on 14s off the rack at a 'regular store'. I…

Here is a photo taken the day I started:

I was pretty rigid about eating 1200 calories a day and exercising Monday - Friday. I do 75 minutes of intense cardio every day. Mon, Wed, Fri I also do weights. Developing muscle made a HUGE difference. It helps to burn fat round the clock :) I track calories and make sure I am getting enough protein each day. First the…
