As mentionned before, it could be water weight or hormones. Is your workout routine new ? You could retain water from this Are you making sure to weight yourself always at the same time ? Are you using a food scale ? Cutting out any type of food won't change a thing if you stay within the same calorie intake

My mom was always trying to push the "you need to lose weigh" conversation on me and tricking me into moving more. For years, it didn't work because the decision wasn't coming from myself. Unfortunately I don't think you can do anything other encourage her towards her new found sports interest. I guess this is a first step…

When i started I was using the endomondo app too, but quickly switched to Samsung Health as i was getting lots of glitches

Congrats on your 10 lb loss ! You need to make sure to weight yourself always at the same time for the data to be consistent. Also, weight loss not being linear, fluctuations happen a lot and water weight can give the impression that you gained a few lb. If your intake is below your expenditure there is no secret, it means…

If you want to add exercice to your routine i suggest that first : you up your calorie intake to 1500 (1200 is the minimum for women and is often sustainable for very short and sedentary women..) and also to eat all or a part of your exercice calories

I have to admit that I thought about it for a few hours before posting because I wouldn't normally post a pic of myself like that. But I don't trust my eyes and wanted a feedback soo.... Haha

Thank all of you for your answers @sardelsa thank you ! Only 3lb to my vanity weight feels like i finally see the light lol

As stated before you should lose at 1200. Also you might want to keep up with you efforts. For example during my first months of calories counting and exercicing i felt like i was hitting plateaus every time i didn't loose for a couple weeks. After time and retreiving data I saw a pattern : I don't lose for 3 weeks then…

Haha I feel like a lazy slop seeing how much you guys work out. Personally I go the gym 2 or 3 times a week and walk around 7K steps everyday and 10+K steps on the week end

As christmas was around the corner I finally got to eat some delicious snails, didn't have to create an entry though

I feel you ! I used to do this but now i don't have time anymore but i still religiously weight myself every morning or i don't feel complete
-
Ah now i am starting to reconsider ... I don't want to ruin my effort. I guess i just hang on a little longer and stop wanting everything too fas as I as so close to my goal haha

I sucessfully lost 17lb with the defaulted MFP calorie intake and now i feel like I am frustrated even though it is steady weight loss. So I will try the TDEE i calculated through the online calculator and see if it works for me, thank all of you for your advice

Thanks, i actually visited this site and completely changed my objectives. I am going to try to keep my 1200 cal out and up my intake to 1590 a day. I was always so unsure about what to do of exercice calories with the defaulted MFP calories intake, so now i have an answer ! :)

I just want to look hot, even though it's very narcisistic and not very like me. I want to feel and look hot, not to care about my body. HA ! As if body confidence only came with weight loss ... I lost almost 8 kilos and still struggling to see the difference in the miror
