I agree, great thread. I've been logging all of my calories. But, I've just been trying to survive in my fairly new job; while looking for another. I love coffee any way I can get it! I usually only drink 1 cup sometimes two a day. Great way to start the day. I try to drink water for the rest of the day.

I fall in this age group. Happy Friday everybody. I have a short day at work today and plan on having a day of leisure and fun for the rest of my day. Might go to the gym and unwind there for a while.

Now that I'm tracking everything, I'm more and more aware of all of the emotional eating that I'm doing. Because I'm eating less, I realize what it feels like again to be hungry. I'm not eating as much food now and starting to feel better. My blood glucose is getting lower too!

Sometimes I like mine witch just a couple of table spoons of olive, then add salt and pepper with a squeeze of a lemon wedge.

I started walking to work each day. It's only a 15 minute walk, but that adds up to 30 minutes each day. It wakes me up and I feel so much better during the day with just that 15 minute walk in the morning. I try to work out at least 2 to 3 times a week. I would like to make it a solid 4 times a week.

I made roasted butternut squash yesterday for lunch. I peeled the outside, then split the squash and scooped out the seeds in the middle. Then I cut it up into 1 inch cubes. Happy to have had my new job for a month now. I joined my fitness pal and I am working on my health. Thankful for my family, friends and hope for my future. Because my job has no insurance, I'm continuing to seek a job with insurance. But still happy that I have the job that I have. :smiley:

I work out at a Planet Fitness gym. I love it. The gym is clean. The patrons and workers are courteous. It has all of the machines that I like to use. It isn't crowded.
