I agree! I am also 5’3’’ and at 127 have a lot of extra fat around my mid section! With a small bone structure, there is a HUGE difference between 120 and 127! I was down to 120 before the holidays, but I am back to 126 (down from 146 January of 2019). I hate when people try to say I don’t need to lose weight at 127!

I should note that I don’t work out THAT much, but I don’t eat much extra even when I do. This seemed to work well for me. I’ve read to eat back about 50% of the calories that these devices claim because of the issues you are stating.

I am 121 pounds and 5’4’’. I have skirts and pants in size 2-4 right now. But I had large hips so anything constraining like jeans is more a size 4 but dresses and looser skirts or pants are a 2. My goal is 118 so that I can wear the rest of my size 2 pants! It’s been about eight years!

If you have an IUD you shouldn’t be ovulating right? I asked my doctor this because I was thinking the same thing about my pill but she said I wasn’t ovulating 🤷♀️ but hormones are crazy so I’m sure there is still a connection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF helps me stay in my caloric goal. I’ve found I like big meals. So by skipping breakfast I can have a decent lunch and decent dinner or sometimes I have a NICE portioned late lunch with a small dinner time snack. I’ve been at 122-123 for three weeks now. I feel you. I am at 1300 calories. I also run about 1.5 miles a day. Which isn’t much but I recently implemented. I’m thinking I need to go to 1200 also to reach my final 115-118.

I came back from vacation about five pounds heavier and dropped it within a week. And I am only 122 mind you so that seemed like a lot!

I also wanted to add that there is a HUGE difference between 1200 and 1500 calories. You sort of stated it in your post like either number seemed surprising to you not to lose weight. For me at 5’4’’, 1500 is more my maintenance calories! So I certainly wouldn’t lose much weight at that number.

I am on a 1250 calorie limit at 5’4’’ 122 pounds. I can assure you weight loss is very slow right now at MAYBE 0.5 pounds a week. My goal is 115-118. I am 5’4’’ and weigh 122.6 right now. My final goal is 115-118 but now that I’m towards the end of my journey, I’m only losing about 1-2 pounds a month. I started at 146 in January. Hope this helps.

Not settling on the, “But you’re 30 now and have two kids. You look fine considering that...”. Nope! I want to feel good in my body again! I’ve dropped 24 since January 1! I’m at 122 and want to get to 116-118 by the end of the year!
