I believe that any popular "weight loss" subscription be it weight watchers, slimming world, optavia, Akins, whatever - are very dangerous and ineffective when it comes to losing weight. It teachers it's members a very ignorant, and often disordered way of eating. While it does encourage them often times to eat healthy it…

I don't particularly like either, but I prefer very light cardio.

I have to agree with some of the posters here - I can't really get into alternative mayos. I either need real mayo or none at all. I can't do substitutes.

Without berries. I've never been a huge fan of berries. Chocolate or Peanutbutter?

I like weekly weigh ins because I can see the downward spiral better. The weight loss is more visible numerically. With daily weigh ins I can be up and down at any moment.

I wouldn't say it's unhealthy, as other members have pointed out. Being proactive in your health - even after you reach your goals - can be normal and healthy. Keeping tabs on your caloric intake isn't unhealthy. However, there is a potential for obsession and addiction to weight loss and THOSE things can be unhealthy.

Myfitnesspal operates by calculating your TDEE and then subtracting from that for a projected weight loss. One pound of fat is 3,500 calories. So, to lose one pound of fat a week you would have to be eating 500 calories under your TDEE a day. 500 x 7 = 3,500. So if you ever want to check if your weight loss is being…

I don't really shame myself for eating foods. My diet is pretty crappy if I'm being honest. The only thing I care about is fitting it into my calorie goals tbh.

Geez, I can't remember the last time I actually cooked something. I live alone and travel a lot so I'm real bad about eating already prepared meals. I think the actual last thing I actually took the time to cook was some veggies and Alfredo chicken.

I need to up the intensity of my work outs, but as of now - i typically just go on long walks/hikes on various trials while listening to podcast. Doesn't really break any kind of a sweat but it's nice upping my steps and does wonders for my mental health.

I assume you're talking about eating eggs, and only eggs, for a certain amount of time. This type of dieting is called "mono" dieting. And it almost always fails. It's a very disordered way of eating, and not sustainable. I would advise against it. Instead, try going in the polar opposite direction. Instead of structuring…

Maybe saving the bulk of your calories for your "binge" time. That way you can indulge safely.

It just depends on your preferences. I, personally, need to have at least one cheat meal a week. It's my "reward" for being good. If I stay in the "green" all week then I'll "treat" myself to one unlogged meal of pure indulgence a week. This is typically some kind of going out to eat event where I don't log anything and I…
