Found this online.... Since you are moving your arms and pushing with your legs, there is a belief that you are strengthening your leg and arm muscles when using an elliptical machine. However, once again ellipticals are providing aerobic exercise which is different from strength training

I find the scales with the body fat analyzer to be junk. I wouldn't waste my $$ on those. The skin fold calipers can be accurate but it depends on who is doing it. Hate to tell you this but the "REAL SIT UP" doesn't target your abdominals. The muscles that are getting a work out is the hip flexors mostly. A crunch is the best basic option to target the core.

Burn 3 done-zo! I can barely finish all the reps at the end of that program. I did the ab burner when I was done as well. I'm glad I picked this program up!

Oh yeah....it's gnarly! I feel like my lungs are going to shrivel up and die and my legs are JELLLLOOOOOO! I throw it in once or twice a week. I do it on the bike. It's supposedly equivilent to 45 min of cardio so why not.

It's not called HILT. It's called H.I.I.T. High Intensity Interval Training. Look up a protocol called Tabata. Same thing.

Very cute kitty! We have a siamese named Gigi. :love: Just finished burn 2. All those lunges and dead lifts and bowler lunges just kill my legs. My upper body is definitely stronger. I HATE working out my legs and now it's showing!:grumble:

Did 2.5 miles around the block. I'm trying to run outside more often since I'm aiming for a 5K. The foot didn't really bother me so THANK GOD! Gonna go for the 25 min sometime this week.

It's physiologically impossible for gurls to bulk up so I wouldn't worry about it at all. This program only has you lifting days a week so I think you will be just fine.
